Trig
My old man is after a new PC, he is starting to get into games like MS flight sim and MS Train Sim. but our current PC is 4 years old and just not up to the job. Trouble is ive tried to convince him to go the route of building your own spec but hed rather get one from somewhere like Dell or PC world so he can get warrenty etc. Can anyone recommend a good one that will cater for his needs? I guess budget would be around £6-700. Any advice greatly appreciated.
DamanC
MS FLight Sim nails some of the best PC's out there. PC worlds best kind of thing they do for the money is this (bottom page) http://www.pcworld.co.uk/martprd/editorial/gaming-pcs Its a poor spec for the money tbh, and whilst it will be better than he has will probably struggle a little with the latest flight sim. You best bet is to find a local computer shop and ask them to build you one. Alternatively I offer mail order custom PC building which include 1 year or more warrenty, PM me if you so wish

DamanC
I will run, but not very well. Probably with everything set to 'low'. I built a 'high end' PC for a client last month and it only ran everything on 'high' rather than 'very high'. For £700 you could build a PC that would run things on 'medium' to 'high'. Most other games would run high to very high on a £700 rig
