I would guess that the thing on the top of the steering column is a microphone, and the button to the side, tells the thing it's connected to to 'listen' for a voice command.

Could be linked to a hands free kit, or a stereo with voice recognition, Sat nav etc.

Do I get a prize if I'm right :D

Might be a DIY immobiliser button, had one on an old Jag on the steering column. Used to be hidden switches but nowadays people don't realise what they do even in plain sight.

2nd pic could be one of those Internal radio aeriels, had one that looked similar myself waaaaay back. Best aerial i ever had.

Or could just be passenger eject seat button with telementary flight path sensor.

it a button that helps to decipher how long it takes to keep a bunch of muppets in suspense. when you press it, its game over and you simply work out how long its been since you first discovered it :)

PRESS IT!!! PRESS IT!!! the suspense is killing me :D

And the monkey.

After seeing that you have a 'NMCT-D50', which is a tuner/TV/DVD/CD/MD/Satnav unit, I rest my case.

Sadly, it's about as much use as a chocolate teapot over here! ;)

Well it's a decent system and the CD and radio work, couldn't care less about Sat NAFF and DVD player. Don't wanna watch Telly while I drive anyways lol. Dangerous enough to drive a Supra at the moment lol.

That's fantastic! I was kind of hoping for a bang and a large fireball once it reached zero though.

I am afraid it's not that exciting. But I have had the "how comes your in the shop with your key in your hands and your engine is still running" and " if I jump in now could I drive away with it" questions :p
