  1. hey man: thanks a lot for this info, I was on a dyno about a week ago and the guy did tell me he had some probs with the set up and that he could do a dyno run on "inclined" surface. Since it sounded kinda BS, i just did not spend the money.
  2. Thanks for the explanation. I just went and forwarded you the info, then again my Supra is not jspec so there may be some basic differences. On the other hand the FDB... well it's good info what you are giving, I will look into the max pressure the fuel pump gives (which is basically bypassing the fuel dampener) vs the fuel dampener max outlet capacity. This will corroborate, double check, the need for a FDB or not. thanks again, this info saves me some work!
  3. I am basically upgrading my TT to a similar set up. One thing though, I have read and corroborated with different ethusiasts that the FCD is not recommended. I can not remember their exact words but I do remember that the MKIV.com site does not sponsor it. I think you have not tried the "fuel dampener by pass line" You can get this line from an auto parts, and this should also give you some more fuel. http://mkiv.com/techarticles/fuel_bypass_line/index.html the above link for your reference. I don't know much since I am still in the learning curve here but I think the bypass line should provide you some more leverage for fuel. Boris
  4. Just wanted to say thanks, what I did was: since I had a Greddy Turbo Timer and Harness, I took the 12V and the ON signals from the harnes itself (red and green). The ground will be shared with the ground from the Greddy (driver seat behind the rug... there is a sweet spot for ground there) and the parking light... well I have a tester like the one that was mentioned and I will plug it there. This should clear things up. My only worry with the ignition plugs is that the greddy manual states that power sources should be taken away from the ignition power due to the noise that might be brought into the signal (something like that)... I just took power from the line in the greddy harness that goes into the greddy tt and not the actual ignition line (just in case). thanks again, thanks again!!! Boris
  5. Hello guys: SO I am currently attempting:drown: to install a couple of Greddy gauges (boost and oil pressure). I am having a big PITA identifying all my sources for 12V, Ignition line, Parking Light, ground... I know I can get some power and ground from the harness down at the ECU but there should be a simple way. Has anyone of you performed this already or have some basic suggestions based on experience. Your help is greatly appreciated:sos: . Boris
  6. thanks for the info!!! this is one huge source of information!!! really appreciated!
