    Fog lights

Do the lenses go orange-red-red-clear (lens colour from the outside) which are J-spec, or orange-red-clear-red which are uk spec. There are several wiring conversions on here to fit a fog light into a j-spec cluster.
  2. If the cats good, it should pass no problems, but it helps if they do the emissions test first while the cat it still hot.
  3. Agree with Rob, Excellent alarms if fitted properly.
  4. Brake bulb failure. The big triangle comes on with any of the other warning lights to indicate a general problem
  5. I've had a concept 650 for 18 months with no problems PM on the way
  6. Its now passed Figure with one cat in were: Fast idle CO : 0.15% (max 0.2%) HC : 21ppm (max 200ppm) Lambda: 1.01 (0.97 - 1.03) Big thanks to Big Num and Burna for loaning me and delivering a spare cat. Also thanks to Pete, Chris Wilson and everyone else who offered their help. Ripped the thing out 5 mins after i got back from the MOT centre though, god its unresponsive with a cat in:p
  7. I agree with Burna. They've got the latest kit and technicians who know how to use it. Check/adjust for around £60.
  8. 10 Minute job . Retest at 11:00 Thanks for the loan, i owe you a few beers
  9. You should pass with just one cat (catalytic convertor - Jake) in, but i'll let you know later today after mine gos in for retest.
  10. Yeah, It passed on everything else Burna is bringing Big Nums spare cat round later so i'll put that on tonight and get it retested first thing tomorrow morning. Back home, put the decat back on all in time to meet up for the japworcs meet http://japworcs.10.forumer.com/viewtopic.php?t=745&highlight=
  11. Following on from this thread: http://www.mkivsupra.net/vbb/showthread.php?t=98198 According to the computer at the MOT place ALL MK IV SUPRA's need at least 1 cat in to pass the MOT now. Any model, any age from chassis number 0000001 onwards. It seems that at some point recently, vosa/dvla have updated their computers and you now need a CO2 reading below 0.2 to pass. Previously '93 and '94 imports could pass with a CO2 reading below 3.5
  12. Thanks everyone for all the offers of assistance, I think its sorted now
  13. Just had a look at the EPC, they are different part numbers
  14. Thanks for the offer, i'll be in touch if i cant find one any closer Does anyone know if they are the same as a TT one?
  15. Just failed MOT on emissions, aparantly they have updated the database since last year and i now need a cat. Does anyone in the midlands area have a 2nd cat pipe for a J-spec TT that 1 could borrow for a couple of days please.
  16. J-spec do not have the trac light or diff warning light
  17. Not sure weather i'm convoying down or meeting you at the travelodge yet. We've got to drop the kids off at the mother in laws first.
  18. I've got a set of Team Dynamics diablo 18 x 8.5 (not sure on the offset but i can find out) Front tyres are good (235/40 Bridgestone S02) , rears are legal, but i'd recommend replacing them, and THEY CLEAR UK BRAKES. Looking for £450, collect from Birmingham Wheels are imacculate, no damage on any of them and include centre caps and wheel nuts. Edit: Also have the hub rings for them.
  19. Its a shame that all those born in the '50s and '60s are now the politians/socialworkers/enviro-mental-ists/health & saftyists who are in charge of wrecking the world for the rest of us
  20. Still only a circuit diagram at the moment. The wife is making me do things in the house:( . I'll get it built and tested soon.
  21. Dont pull the fuse in yours Greg, the TC butterfly in the inlet is also used by the auto box to cut power on gearchanges. Just turn it off for now.
  22. Max Headroom dyno'd his n/a at the japworcs rolling road meet last year. I think he posted his graph on here.
  23. You shouldn't have to pay tax, if the customs declaration form was filled in as 'warranty repair' or similar.
  24. The stock toyota one is better than most of the aftermarket ones and cheaper too imho
