  1. hi just fitted a manual boost controller... for some reason i now seem to only be able to rach 9psi of boost... was at about 12 13 psi before.... please help with any ideas???
  2. im gonna try that over the weekend!!! hardly ever get flat out but was suspectin that i was maybe detonatin!!!! so a rolling road session wont do anything for me??
  3. thanks ill give that a go... what sort of cost are they???? can you buy in a pack of 6???
  4. do i need lower temp plugs??? it only happens when u r flat out... up to that point the car pulls hard...
  5. i got a 93 auto TT.. i have a hks ssqv hks fcd bleed valve 2.5 inch exhaust system with seciond cat removed... im running 16psi but at full throttle i get slight hesitation... is it possible to get this resolved on a rolling road or will i need electric gizmos and piggy back ecus??? the reason i ask is that i once took my mr2 to get rolling road tuned and was told they cant tune it as the ecu controls all the fuelling... therefore they said they could only do a power reading.. is this the case?
  6. parked in welling near blockbusters.... on way to shootershill... very nice looking!!! i see it every morning!!!
  7. had my alarm fitted by autolek in welling kent... gotta admit the alarm is good... ive always had 650s in the past... i have the tilt n motion sensor + the glass break and the dual zone sensor... also had the turbo timer enabled easy to use and does its job..
  8. i will have to go and take my skirt back now!!! hahaha
  9. hey any of you guys and girls free tommorow at all...?? have a little kent /south east cruise during the day.... i should be out tonight pushing my car again.... am wokring in swanley tonight with my mate who has a golf r32.... we have had several races around the a2 area but i was hitting fuel cut before..... now i am fuel cut defended it should be a good outcome!!!!
  10. membership??? we pay to be here????
  11. i know this is in the wrong forum but i cant seem to post in the for sale area!!!! i have a set of 16 inch wheels that were origionally fitted to my sooop... they are anthracite but are not the standard 5 spoke design you normally see on supras.... i will try to post a picture soon... anyway the tyres are fair condition 245/50/16 i think for the rear and 225/50/16 for the front..... i want to swap them for either standard toyota side skirts for the supra or a boost controller of ANY sort or some rear lowering springs..... the wheels are taking up space and i need to get rid of them thats why my demands are not too fussy.... any people interested please call me on 07812068930 my name is lee based in south east london... thamesmead/bexleyheath area
  12. which clifford you got??? i totally screwed my concept 650 up recently and have lost my turbo timer option totally!!!
  13. a day and a half!!!!! wow... i managed to swap my bilstein shocks with standard springs for some bilstein shocks with lowered springs in 3 hours ..... rears are piss easy fronts are harder only due to the big and sometimes ultra tight bolt on the trac control arm (i think thats what its on..)
  14. actually most fuel cut defenders raise thye boost cut level so that there still is protection but at a higher settable level... for example the hks fcd you have to set it as low as possible without affecting other functions of the boost pressure sensor... when i first installed mine i set it real low and it stopped the sequential system working properly as the ecu was not seeing enough boost to open the require vsvs so it needs to be set to a level where by fuel cut is stopped but all other functions remain... http://www.mkiv.com recommends using the greddy fcd as it works a better equation out regarding boost level to ecu than the hks fcd... when you hit fuel cut you will know... your dash will light up like a xmas tree and ya head will smack the windscreen!!!!
  15. i had my turbos stripped out and uprated with metal blades... do not know exact specs but now pushes 16psi easy..... spool is quick as well...
  16. this is a sexist meet!!!!!!! hahaha can i come pretty please!!!!!!!!!! ill wear a skirt!!! hahaha only joking!!
  17. place the socket on an extension bar... place over the end of the locking nut and whack the fcuker with a hammer... the locking wheel nuts are made of a very soft alloy that will give way to the hard steel socket eventually the socket will embed itself onto the locking nut which should then be able to be removed wioth a normal ratchet
  18. i have never pushed a car that far!!!!! my old mr2 had a jap dash... 110mph top end i had the needle almost all the way back round to zero.....(slight exageration) but the soop has too many numbers to go past to get there and my chair starts to become brown!!!!! hahaha i plan on going out to germany or somewhere and doing a high speed run on the autobahns
  19. i find economy wise its not much better but you do get used to the lag created... real easy to fit aswell!!! does anyone know where i can get some decent lowering springs???? i lowered my car already front dropped to the floor but back still sits a bit high... i wanna drop the back just a bit more
  20. ok... so N/A's are still a threat!!!! i have my second cat removed and a powerflow exhaust fitted, also running an apexi filter and hks BOV... hck fuel cut defender and a bleeder t mod... i find it hard to put any real power down on the road in these current conditions and find that any races i have usually end up with me either starting from behind due to wheel spin or i end up snaking up the road until traction control kicks in and kills the race!!!!! the N/A does sound like a more practical car for our UK roads!!!! have any of the TT drivers here tried the ETTC modification??? i have done it... just a switch on the dash allows me to switch between parralell turbos or sequential....
  21. How many of you guys (and girls) are TT???? and what are the top speeds you have reached???? i just want to know so i will get a better idea of what im up against when i next see a supra locally!!!! from looking through the site it seems a lot of you are N/A.... a friend of mine is looking to get a supra and asked if i thought buying an N/A supra was worth it... as i have not driven an N/A i cant answer... what aer your thoughts... are they much slower than a TT?
  22. soarer is also a whole lot longer than supra... my girlfriends uncle has a soarer he had taken his exhaust off (big bore jap style back box) i lineed it up under my car.... all the bends are in the right place but the whole back box stuck out from the back bumper..!!!!
  23. yeah it was a nice day... i was starting my hunt for a supra then had my MR2 up for sale... managed to get parked right by the jap performance magazine stand..... there were some real nice supras.....
  24. im moving to Bexley heath soon... so if you see a silver supra going around on OZ super tourismo multi spoke wheels say Hi.... im alwasy driving through your area.... suprised ive never seen you!!!!
