  1. im one of those people that waited for years took me 3.5 years to find this buit! - i searched through auto trader, ebay and forums for a long time, lovely machine. please dont say anything else too nice, i already have a lump in my throat putting her up for sale.
  2. Hi All, My circumstances have now changed and with much joy im now keeping my Supra!, appolagise to all those i have been speaking to over the last couple of weeks but for the time being im keeping her. Sorry if i wasted any of your time. Kind regards UK Spec Toyota Supra TT ( Manual ) – 1995 - 56,700 miles - Rare 6 spd manual - Full Toyota Service History to 42,509 miles, thereafter serviced by Mark @ Phoenix (Highly recommended on this forum) - Completely stock with no aftermarket modifications, just as they rolled out the factory - All usual UK spec goodies Traction control, front active spoiler, 326 bhp as standard, full leather, heated seats etc etc. - Fitted with Laserline Thatcham 1 alarm/immobiliser - 3 owners from new - Tax & MOT until February 2009 - Garaged - All original Toyota booklets, manuals, service book etc. I am selling my much loved supra with much regret and if I could I would keep this beast forever believe me I would, over the years she has caused no problems what so ever, without doubt this is the most reliable and fun car I have owned, there aren’t many cars around that boast high performance and reliability. The service records are absolutely immaculate with a fully stamped service book, she has been serviced on the dot at the correct intervals for all the ‘A’ & ‘B’ services per the service schedule along with the intermediate oil changes that fall between. Since I have had the car I have been using only ‘Silkoline’ Engine oil ‘Pro S 5W-40’ as recommended by Opie Oils, along with V160 transmission oil for the getrag 6 spd box. I also use shell optimax petrol only. This car has been looked after with no cost spared and is in lovely nick for a car of almost 13 years old, I also have a email from the original owner to find out about the cars history needless to say he also loved the car. I had fitted a double din touch screen Kenwood DVD player as the Toyota system was a bit dated, however I still have the original stereo if you want it. The only bad point is the wheels could do with a refurb. I would really like this rare origional beast go to somebody on this forum that I know will treat it with all the TLC I have given over the years, the car isn’t happy unless it gets polished every week!. I can’t think of anything else but if you have any questions please don’t hesitate to ask. If you want anymore pics emailed please let me know. Security Token?

hi guys, does anybody know what the security token is when uploading pictures using the attachment icon?, i cant get it to work? cheers
  4. Sorry its a 95', im sure it would be worth at least 12,500. last October i was offered 15k and turned it down. Surely 12,500 s reasonable.
  5. I know ive posted about this before so please dont shoot me for the re-post . Adrian flux have come back to me with a value of 10,000 for my car, they have said if I can get a valuation from a independent assessor or a owners club (this is were you guys come in ) they will reasses. Im trying to insure for 12,500.00 although i reckon its worth a bit more. Please let me know what you reckon she's worth?, taking into consideration i cant find any on the market in this condition to compare?. Details of car below: UK Spec. Toyota Supra (v.good/Immaculate) 6 Speed Manual 54,000 Miles with immac. full service Hist. (90% Toyota remainder Phoenix) Completley Stock Silver, Black Leather Interior
  6. cheers for the replies peeps... unfortunatly im not going to find another UK manual like this one, ive looked everywere to compare prices, its like trying to find a needle in a haystack. It took me 2.5yrs waiting and looking just to find this one for myself. I have also tried to call Toyota - unfortunalty my left buttock knows more about Supra's than then most of there current staff. Stuck? i sure is hell want insured for more than 10K!, jokers
  7. I have just insured my car with adrian flux's agreed value policy but im having a few problems trying to get them to understand the value of my car. I have a immaculate 1995 UK spec 6 speed manual on 52,000 miles with a squicky clean full service history, 98% of it with Toyota the remainder with Phoenix. Now I was offered 16k for this car back in October and i reckon it would sell for at least 14k on the current market, I valued it to them as 12-13k not wanting them to think i was over pricing and they have come back with a figure of £10k?? - im not sure about you guys but i reckon its worth alot more than that seeing as auto's are going for that price on higher mileage in lower condition. Any ideas how I can get around this prob. Cheers for your help in advance.
  8. cheers for the quick reply Lee, the insurance company want the model number on the thatcham 1 declaration form, the fob is rectanuler with 2 buttons.... I believe it may be the 996V3 but im cluthing at straws here?
  9. Just a quick one, does anybody know were or how i can find the serial no. for my thatcham 1 alarm for insurance purposes?. On the fob it says laser line T101V2 but I believe this is the serial no. for the fob only? I cant find anything on the actual alarm as most of it is not accessable. cheers Dan
  10. what the service history like mate, is it 'full' and with who
  11. I would say around 7 also, unfortunatly that cat 'c' will put alot of people off.
  12. sorry so late back into this one, just returned from a few days away in Dam. whoops! looks like i might have sparked a disagreement here sorry peeps:blink: Apparantly the terms to qualify for classic are the following: 15 years old Garage parking limited mileage and use of another car. so classic is out the question as my sup is 12 years old. £740 best so for from admiral, 5 ncb, 25, Uk spec. i'll give sky a shout tomorrow see what they can come up with. cheers for your response guys.
  13. right the insurance companies are after my pound of flesh again!, has anybody come across any particully good priced quotes recently?. Also i was thinking of insuring as a classic car, not sure if i will qualify though? - 1995 UK spec I do under 3k a year (oh! and ive just reached the tender age of 25 ), im sure i remember a few guys/girls on here telling me they insure as a classic car. cheers in advance peeps

    Re-spray / GVN

right im finally getting round to getting the respray done - at long last:d , few questions for you lot in the know: 1) im looking to get the full works done, windows out, shuts, engine bay etc. - what exactly needs to come out of the bay in order for it to be sprayed - cos i havnt got a scooby? 2) im 99% sure that im going with GVN as i have seen some of there work and its quality!, but does anybody know of any other coachworks around the London area-ish, that are top draw, need to be good though cos im a fussy git, just want to get a few other quotes to keep my options open. 3) looking at getting a colour change i take it i have to inform the DVLA? 4) last but not least, stormk blue or black - to go with cream leather.... i just cant bloody decide! sorry for the SA peeps, thought / opinions much appreciated. cheers Dan
