  1. Yes. Car must be 100% stock to get it over the TÜV or I would need certificates for every part that is fitted.
  2. Nah car is derestricted as I bought it from someone in the uk. There was just a little talk that the car needs new pads soon but its not only pads the discs are totally down and what not. The whole car wopples like crazy when you brake. So I just orded discs&pads and will fit them soon.
  3. More bad news for me :/ After I discovered that the brakes are totally shot today after another clean up I discovered that it still has japanese tires on it. I thought you have to have DOT legal tires in the UK for MOT? But there are mounted Bridgestone Grid II and Grid III tires on it and they just have an speed index with V which means 240kmh and not more. So I will need new tires all around... The next thing is that it seems like its loosing a little bit of oil around the are where the cam cover sits on because its pretty dirty there with oil rests and so on. Next thing is the rear hatch dampers arent strong enough to hold the hatch oben is there a way to adjust them? I couldnt find anything so I think I will need two new ones :/
  4. I would go with the TIAL one.
  5. I think driving to the uk again would be a problem So I would need a Do it yourself methode.
  6. Hi As i recently bought a jspec TT from the uk and I have discovered it was converted from kmh to mph pretty dodgy as they didnt changed the kms to miles as they just started topping up the miles to the old kilometers. So now I have a mixture of kilometer and miles on my odometer and it goes up in miles. Is there a way to change everything to miles and input a new value? As with service history and everything the car has around 61k miles and I want it to display miles and not kms when it counts up miles.
  7. Im in too. I smell a german group buy coming
  8. Just gave her a short clean but its already dirty again http://www.boostshop.de/pics/supra1.jpg http://www.boostshop.de/pics/supra2.jpg http://www.boostshop.de/pics/supra3.jpg http://www.boostshop.de/pics/supra4.jpg http://www.boostshop.de/pics/supra5.jpg
  9. Where are you from jspec? It seems like fast4funs and my supra arent the only japanese rhd supras here in germany
  10. Hi mate He means the workshop manual for the motor group.
  11. its raining like crazy outside so will have to wait for pics perhabs later in the moonshine But its totally standard with the graffit 16" standard wheels.
  12. Do the Brembo ones have some sort of certificate Need something like that for our TÜV over here. And do you have them in stock?
  13. Where to get jap spec discs? Because I wont get them here in germany or has anyone the toyo part numbers? Or has anyone a special price for those?
  14. Nah my mate has a JDM Spec Supra too with nearly shot pads and his brakes 100 times better so I think both it totally down. Would get Eurospec brakes now but the car has standard wheels and I currently dont have the money for larger wheels as registration will cost me really big bucks. So some CW pads need to do it till the summer.
  15. After a semi long wait I just got my first supra Its the silver TT that Gaz from Envy advertised for a customer of him and a friend of mine just drove it over tonight. Cars looks really good beside a big scratch on the front but will get that sorted asap. The only thing that puts me off is that the brakes are totally shot there is nearly no braking power left and the steering wheel wobbles under hard braking. Just orded some CW fast road pads and bought some new brake fluid. I hope the discs are ok but doesnt look like they could be refurbed (i think skimmed is the english word). But so far its a really nice car and driving on the "wrong" side isnt really strange after some first tries. Just need to learn the car with all these buttons and the nifty alarm and everything. Also the first automatic car for me after only manual cars.
  16. What mirrors are on the car? Look nearly like Ganador but Ganadors are very straight backwards and these look like they are curved a bit up.

    Supra TT 6 RIP

Good to hear your gf is ok... Why goodbye to the parts cant you part out the car yourself?
  19. Do you have some plans for the tool? As I would need to do my cambelt soon and I think shipping to germany would be just too much and I could get one made over here.
  20. There are aftermarket ones by Greddy and Power Enterprises but dont know of the quality. They are both around 100 pounds I think. As my sup has covered 60k miles I will look into doing it myself soon.

    Save Toby!!

For 20k$ I will butcher half of the people next to my house
  22. Looks perfect minus the wing.
  23. I think Recaro seats were an option for the supra from 96 on so it should be possible to get them directly from Toyota.
  24. I think our TÜV wont like to see it when I butcher something at the seat rails
  25. Hi just wanted to know what companys make special seat frames for the supra? As I saw it its just Recaro and Sparco or are there other makes? I would like to place some nice COBRA Misanos in my new car but Cobra only makes seat frames for the Toyota GT4.
