There are some investigations with your uk trade office about this scam.

Its not only the rotary engine its the two turbos, all the pipework, intercooler and all this stuff. And in the end the rotary is steel and the V8 is aluminium. LSx engines are really compact in size for what they are and because of their simple technique they are pretty light too.

@Homer You should put some more homework into it The LSx engine is full alu and weights exactly the same as the 13B mazda engine with all the turbo pipework and everything. Most swaps are just around 20kg heavier then before with the V8 in it and still have the same weight distribution.

I'm currently trying to sell the supra and will get an RX-7 next. But I will kill the only factor thats against the RX-7, the engine! Will put an 5.7L V8 from a Corvette into the RX-7 body Thats reability, torque, power, easy on gas oh and torque.

If they swapped the AWD too it would be really cool but I never have seen an AWD Supra so I think it wont be possible...

Not worth it. Just use an small single like an T61 or T67. The Blitz kits lack most of the piping too and this stuff.

C6 is sold offical over here now but big price tag compared to the US pricing so it will stay exotic over here. You could get the C5 through importers without a problem and get it serviced too over here at some dealers. Z06 never was sold over here but I think a handfull were imported but its REALLY rare.

I would take an C5 z06 over a normal C6 but currently I'm drolling over the new C6 Z06...Now thats a killer of a car...

Greddy E-01, Blitz SBC-ID3 or the HKS EVC5 Those are the top of the line Boost Controllers from japan so I wouldnt worry about the quality of them. I like the EVC5 if I could choose from them.

To get an GTR legally on the road over here it costs around 6000€ as you have to change tires, exhaust, lights and then get everything approved. Its like doing a model report like you have now but you have to do it for every car.
