  1. Agree with Jake, nice car. Low mileage, manual gearbox,Toad alarm etc. Nice getting a facelift car which this is, it's got the newer lights which alot of people upgrade to later on. 11K ono, you'll be able to knock him down a little aswell I would think. It doesn't look modified which is good. See if he'll send you some pics .

    Surpaforums?

    Wasn't working this afternoon!
  3. On here aswell, scroll down to the VIN plate stuff. Click here
  4. Plastic cover on top of engine. It says: 3000 VVTI Two Way Twin Turbo Other differences, but that's the most obvious.
  5. They are nice, I would like to know aswell!
  6. Steviekid on here is a vet, you could send him a pm. I'm sure he'll give you some good advice, hope he doesn't mind me mentioning him. If I couldn't get it sorted at the local vets I would go to a Veterinary college and get some help. When you see them on the TV that's where they appear to have all the experts that do the revolutionary operations and procedures. Website here for vets specialising in this subject http://www.animal-allergy.com/vet-surgeons/information.php4 Hope you get your cat better again, not nice to see them unwell.
  7. Even easier to ask him if it says VVTI on the engine spark plug cover .
  8. The facelift cars were stiffer and I think had a bit more sound insulation, rubber seals on doors etc won't be in as good a condition on the older ones. Always better to buy a newer car if you can . But there are good and bad ones of all ages, depends if they've been looked after.
  9. If you've got a standard car including the exhaust you're looking at £1000-£1200 just for the parts.
  10. When you remove it why don't you hook it on the place on the inside of the door, do all the cars have this?
  11. Silver Supe, for about 1 sec!
  12. Quite a bit of stuff in the Multimedia gallery if you go back and look through the posts.
  13. Is this the one on autotrader, silver ? Can't think what else it would be.
  14. What we looking for apart from the Supra?
  15. On the passenger side below the headlights there's sufficient room But on the drivers side hardly any, fitted mine just to the right near the wing. Waterproofing is always a problem, on oem hid headlights they're sometimes fitted inside the headlight housing. Quite a few cars have them just screwed to the underside of the light, the ballasts they're used are wateright- mainly Hella ballasts. Some people encapsulate them in a potting compound. Plenty of stuff on this site for waterproofing ideas and other HID stuff. Click me.
  16. If you're running really rich, it's more than likely your oxygen sensor. 0.3 % vol is your max carbon monoxide. You say your level went up to 10.3%, mine was 9.4 % and it failed the MOT aswell. I replaced the oxygen sensor and it passed.
  17. They are, you'll lose most of it.
  18. The facelift cars started in May 96 VVTI in Sept 97 It could be a VVTI but I've never seen a silver one (looks like), only gunmetal/quicksilver VVTI's. Some cars don't always get registered straight away, it could be pre Sept 97 model registered in 98. We could all be wrong though.
  19. A full decat isn't particularly cheap. Including the exhaust about £1100-£1200 for the parts alone. If you haven't got an aftermarket exhaust then go for that first, it doesn't require any other mods and you'll love the sound. A full decat is much more involved and obviously more expensive. Not all J spec cars have the smaller brakes as standard, if you're lucky they might already have the larger ones.

Hi Maybe some pics, or a part registration number. RLTC is good, crap traction though on the wet and greasy roads, the stock traction control isn't good. Be careful, you can lose the back end so easily when you least expect it.
  21. Front looks nice, the rest I'm not sure about. Better in real life I would think.
