I have a clifford concept 500 with blackjax.

Its a good alarm once you get the hang of putting the code in every time the door is opened.

However, this does get annoying.

Its got:

remote start

full closure

motion detection

probably a lot of stuff i dont know about.

When I bought my GTO TT it had a bleed valve on it and I was warned away from it as it was dangerous for the engine.

Is this not the case with supe engines?

I drove a rx7, the R1 enfini. it was standard i think about 280/300

ish bhp and i really enjoyed it. i was going to buy it but was bet to it.

The driving position was a little cramped for me but i didn't care.

460 bhp in one of those must take some driving! i bet you travel everywhere crab style! ( sideways )

Iv been to look at cars from Keithly Trade centre and they are poor examples. I also know some one who has heard a lot of shit about them. They dont have a good rep round that area!

They always have plenty of good looking cars for sale but on close inspection they are scabby. Also every car they have in claims to have a veilside kit on and they are clearly not.

i just explain to the mechanic how to activate tamper mode.

They are a damn good alarm but they are a fuchin pain in the ass !

I was warned never to remove the batt unles it is in tamper mode cos it will bugger the settings up !!!

I was the same. unsure weather to get a TT or N/A.

my advice is dont have a go in a TT cos you'll want one !

if you have a go in a N/A and its not enough. Then try a TT.

I did the same, i said i did it part time , just a few cars a year.

then buY a couple of bangers to sell on.

my insurance on a GTO was £1300

not bad to say Privalige wanted £3500

Tradex were the only company to insure me as i was 24.

Its definately an option for me.

I was going to buy from liverpool port auctions, but they wont guarentee the history of the car or milage. So its just pot luck if you get a good one.

Plus they all have scratches and scuffs from transit to this country.

Can you let me know what is involved and the pro's and con's

of doing it.

I had thort about importing one myself but was put off when i heard that there was mountains of paperwork and a long wait for the car.

Now youv done it was it worth it?

Iv just been on bansaicars.com.

They appear to have plents of supras in and they look to be good prices too.

The majority are grade 4 which means they are good condition.

Has anyone used them or know anything about them?

i was going to buy from there and it does say in the terms and conditions that if you have proof that its booked in at a MOT or SVA testing place and you cant register it untill it has been MOT'd or SVA'd you can drive it to the test station. however there is a SVA site in the docks, so it looks dodgey thay your driving it all the way to newcastle.

i enquired about driving one to rotherham and they strongly advised me not to .
