  1. the uk supe runs a MAF not MAP sensor so what is the max boost the stock uk setup can handle if i was to fit diffrent turbos????
  2. ive got the same sort of thing but at low speeds especially over rough roads (rear n/s wheel) iv'e taken the wheel off and checked the bushes and that everything is tight but its still there.
  3. when i bought my supra it had a hks superdragger already fitted wich was bright chrome until i raised the boost to 1.3bar now the tail pipe is gold. the extra temprature will turn s/s off colour i wouldnt worry about it unless it turns blue.
  4. what gives the most accurate boost reading my blitz guage or dsbc? because my guage holds a steady 1.2bar but my dsbc spikes to about 1.28 and is all over the place??????
  5. it would be nice without front splitters on front bumper, no graphics, the spoiler lowering 6" and clear headlights.
  6. these easyly cool temps made by stocks running 1.3bar cant realy say on hp because it depends on set up, you should get less boost temp runnin a big single with 600bhp than stock twins runnin 400bhp so it depends on set up. but will easy cope with stock or hybrid/stock turbos.
  7. these i.c's are £300 + p+p for 10, unless you want to collect it. ive been running 1.25 bar with mine on and it stays cold to touch where as my old one used to get hot and car used to have a slight flat spot after a good blast.
  8. ive fitted the 1st one made to my uk tt with no probs at all (took about 40mins) everything lined up bang on, it is thicker than the stock i.c so the plastic inner arch just touches the i.c at the bottom corner but is no problem. The diffrence was very noticable it pulled harder and smoother through the gears and stays cold to the touch even when giving it some right foot running 1.25bar, where as the old crumbly one used to get warm just driving normally (below 3.5krpm). i need ten names down to get this thing rollin.......
  9. the ooooooo noise is a resonation (like blowing across the top of a bottle)in the inlet piping, mines done it since i fitted my apexi filter and have spoke to a lot of supra owners that do the same, its pretty normal and wouldnt worry about it.
  10. do uk tts have speed limiters? because i hit what felt like a speed limiter complete loss of power at 170. but i ive been well off the clock before............ dont understand.
  11. think 95 is ok (dependant on oil) but i would fit a cooler to be on the safe side.
  12. sounds like a torque convertor problem, when mine kicks down to second sometimes it breaks traction and t.c kicks in
  13. ok maybe its normal i aint really driven it under 4k rpm scince i fitted it, its bolted on top of the drivers side shock so it aint rattling.
  14. when my car just starts to boost (1st turbo) theres a knockin sound coming from my blitz solinoid, if it set it to OFF it stops. sounds like a tappet rattle but dont get faster with rpm or boost... any ideas anyone????????
  15. ok my local dealer in stafford says £197 for a main service so cheaper than i thought. its done 76k and is due for a main service because the last owner had it done a few times before it was really due.
  16. ok anybody know of a good garage in the midlands/staffs who will service my car and stamp my book? im a hgv mechanic so i can service the car my self but need the stamp for resale value......

  18. iv got my hands on a blue blits dsbc but the instructions on the tech page dont work the same on this ebc, i can set the volume and the warn etc but cant set the gain i just get a letter P or C with a little flashing L in the bottom left corner which i can adjust from 0-100. ive set it up so it runs 1.21bar but still get a spike when changing up in 3rd n 4th (auto) any ideas? is the boost coming on too fast causing this spike?
  19. ive changed steam seals on various cars by filling the chamber with compressed air (airline fitting,old spark plug and a bit of braizing) and using a specialy modified tool (a hacksawed spring compressor) and bolting it to the engine with various brackets. workd well on a cvh lol but u can swap a head on a cvh in 25 mins....
  20. have you tried this tool yet as mine gives a chuff of blue smoke out when pulling off in mornin????
  21. esso super unleaded is a lot better in my supe than optimax i can tell the diffrence from running optimax then puttin esso s.u in, if uve got the same optimax in the tank for a couple of days it tends to go off, feels like ur pulling a trailer full of bricks.

  24. they are for gas/oil charging i think not for air. cant you adjust the damper with a screw on the top?
  25. i put dunlop sp9000 on mine and binned it in the first bit of rain theye are 1 of the worst tyres about. i took them off and sold um theye are proper crap. ive got vierdestein ultracs on the back wich are better than f1s. aint had them to long so not sure about wear rate. i will be fitting f1s on the front because vierdestein dont do them in my front size.
