  1. Must agree, the first turbo seems to spin up as soon as you touch the gas:p . Lag seems to be non-existent....
  2. See, just enough time to get off your drive...
  3. So that should last just enough time for you to reverse out of your drive:innocent: , the rest of the time you can just listen to the straight six..... Dan.
  4. Either way, still looks great....
  5. Nice..... I like the wheels, wot make are they? Dan.
  6. It will depend on whether you have a JSpec or UK spec car. I've just had my car de-catted(Both removed) and a Nur Spec exhaust. It had a restricter ring fitted, and it ran 15 psi. This gave 346 bhp on the Thor dyno which is measured at the hub. I was told that there is roughly 20% transmission losses on power, so this gave 414 bhp at the flywheel, which is where the power is normally quoted. Looking at most threads I've seen in the past there seems to be a wide spread of boost pressure from just de-catting and changing the exhaust. It just seems to be pot luck as to what you'll get:blink: Are you feeling lucky.... Dan.
  7. TRD3000GT is selling a complete set of jspec brakes in the Private section....
  8. Just replaced one of the rear calipers on my jspec, it cost £186 +vat from Toyota Dan.
  9. No. 9's the one, also there should be some clips for the top edge of the scoop. Would they be 12, it's a bit hard to tell from the diagram, + I haven't actually got the bits... Cheers mate, Dan.
  10. I'm trying to get hold of the black metal strip that surrounds the inside of the main scoop in the front bumper, and the plastic fasteners for it. Trying to explain the part I want to Toyota over the phone is a nightmare. Has anyone got an idea of the Part numbers for them, or what the proper name for them is? If anyone's got them for sale then I'd be happy to take them off your hands? Cheers, Dan
  11. Pretty similar with the baffle in I think, with it taken out:eek: But not as loud as that guy who went before us on the dyno...
  12. Hi Keith, I saw you there. Mine was the Silver JSpec. You commented as it came into the garage that it was very quiet. They managed to cure that, with a quick change from the standard exhaust to a NurSpec with decat. (My ears are still ringing after blasting back down the M5) They also fitted an SBC ID III, and the difference is amazing. A much smoother power delivery with less of a dip when #2 comes in. I'd like to add my recommendation to yours, that Thor offered an excellent service, and that I'll be visiting them again as soon as my plastic has recovered Cheers, Dan.
  13. A guy down at Matt's fitted my RLTC on Tuesday, and what a difference. I can now pull out from junctions, without worring whether I'm going to end up sideways, or bogged down infront of an oncoming lorry. The fitter did a superb job, and even fixed the armrest lid that had a bust hinge. Cheers Matt:thumbs:
