  1. Spot on that man. Ill be letting Mr T know of my requirements and will put an order in (and for the rear window seal) Thanks matey. Ive emailed you about the TRD spoiler too.
  2. Its not bubbling too bad at all - just surface rust from what we've seen. Thats great news that its not bonded in solid- I will have to put an order in to the local Mr T - thanks for the part number
  3. Fancy swapping to a new TRD tyle rear wing. I have a white car so will have a stock spoiler for sale. Anyone help? Saw one for sale a while back but wished I'd grabbed it then;(
  4. Ok sizes - Im rubbish with wheels as I recently found out when I had to order my Rotas so forgive me here: The tyres are 17" Hancook Ventus Sports 255/40ZR17 and 235/45ZR17. These came on my Supra when I bought it 4 years ago so they will fit nto any Supra no probs. The tyres are less than 6 months old.
  5. Hi all, My white supra has developed a little bit of rust just at the lowest section of the rear glass area where the rubber seal is. Ive heard this is a common area for them to go and even though my car is in superb condition this is the bit thats letting it down. As its white its becoming more noticeable too. I have a quote to get this sorted but Ive been told from numerous sources that the glass needs to come out and I will need a new rubber seal to replace the current one. However some sources say that the glass is bonded in too which makes this a very difficult job in all. Has anyone on the forum removed their rear panel glass from the rear hatch before and can give me some pointers of what needs to be done and what part numbers I need? I want to get this done before winter as the poor car is suffering
  6. Hi all I have a missing button/blanking plate for my right dash panel - I think I have fog light button and also the headlight sprayer button, but one is missing and Im not too sure which. Anyone help?
  7. Replaced these recently due to small crack found in rear alloy. The wheels are white 17" WORK allows - 5 spoke. Replaced recently with white 18" Rotas. Now the wheels hold pressure fine and work fine - I drove them last summer through Spain/France with no problems but due to crack in rear and advice from fellow members I replaced all 4 wheels and tyres. The tyres are hardly used Hancooks 17" - wider on rear than front (size eludes me now but I can find out) but these were perfect for my Supra and I bought it with these WORK alloys on. The crack maybe fixable but its up to you. Its a bargain for the tyres anyway. The tyres have hardly any wear and hopefully these pics can show this: Looking for £150 quid collected from warwick in the midlands for all 4 tyres and wheels. Maybe of use for a trackday? The tyres are ideal replacements for those on a budget maybe. Email me on [email protected] if keen. 8. I know it should be in wanted but I made an error Might be interested - any pics would be good tho.
  9. :) In the market for a new set of wheels - not bothered by size as such as long as they are 17 or 18. Having a 'mare with trying to source some Supra sized wheels in a nice shape... Would be a bonus if they "look simple" as I prefer a 5 spoke design non split rim... Help?!

  11. Mine have developed a crack in the rear. Anyone with a set of 17 inchers in white? My car is white so im kinda after the same look... Keen to hear if anyone has any other wheels - 18" also. Jez
  12. Just prior to getting my wheels repainted we've noticed a crack in one of the rears. This from what we've discussed is quite catastophic as it pretty much wipes my whole set of trusty WORK 17's out completely. Asked about and it doesnt seem like I can get this repaired as its a crack and needs to either be welded or treated in some way. Sooooo - my options are to really see if anyone does know of a way to fix this OR has anyone got a ncie set of wheels for sale? Mines a japspec with smaller calipers so any 17/18s will do. Anyone help?
  13. My White 96 MKIV SZ - Just had my water pump housing replaced wy the local garage due to a core plug on it developing a hole (dripping coolant everywhere) The garage did an excellent job of tracking the part down and also changed my cambelt at the same time (which was nice as I had the parts ready anyway). However Ive just take the car out and the temp guage doesnt sit at the original level (as you all know it pretty much normally sits just below halfway when its warmed up) It kind of creeps up to almost 3/4 and stays there. Also I have NO heating at all - so this strikes me as if there is an air bubble in the system somewhere? Am I right? I have ordered a new rad cap aswell as the original was perishing somewhat - would have an effect on the dicky temperature issue? The car is super low mileage example (23k) so it cant be the heater matrix (and there hasnt been any leakage from that - thank god) Any ideas before I take it back to moan?
  14. Well mine is white (as the car is white) and myself and others have commented that it looks really really good. I think it transformed the car and with some chrome surrounds around the speedos it really makes a difference. The original panel is pretty dire - the black rubber finish is just pants. Just make sure its done real well and people are genuinly impressed. The Fiat coupe uses quite a few areas of colour coded dash parts and it does look great (shame about the car tho)
  15. At least it can be done. Sorted, I dont care how much - love to get it sorted.
  16. Anyone has this done to good effect?
  17. My 1996 White jap spec has this problem to at the lowest point of the rubber seal around the window of the hatch. Im dying to get this sorted but because it sits under the rubber seal it looks like a pig of a job to sort. It hasnt taken too much but as a loing owner it gets on my t*ts... Has anyone sorted this on theirs and does it yield good results...
  18. Temp gauge says normal - I will check tonight to see if all fluids intact. The car DOES need a coolant replacement so I will do this first before cacking my pants
  19. The car is a 96 and has only done 26k. The engine compartment suggests a car thats hardly done any work at all - its so clean and new. I cant imagine that the matrix has rotten through - just doesnt seem plausable...sooooooooo Im hoping that a flush/air blockage etc is all that is necessary. Need to try this weekend.
  20. I think my heater has packed up. Get no warm air at all even with the engine warmed up. All controls and fans work fine.....does this sound like the heater matrix? Im concerned that this is a horrible job and whether I should explore any other reasons for it not working: ie. blockage in hose perhaps... Is it something that can wait for the summer? If it is the heater matrix, how much am I looking at for the replacement parts and is there anyone on the board who has had a similar experience? Jez (freeezing!)
  21. Hope someone can help: Im looking for a replacement rear hatch for my Supra - I only ask this as there is a tiny area where the rubber seal has let water in and has allowed some rust to form. Ive been told that this is a bugger to fix and even though the hatch is in otherwise great condition - this area is growing and is beginning to look unsightly. The car itself is a 1996 and has only done 20k and its pretty immaculate all over apart from this area. I was hopping that someone may know of a breakers that may have a replacement white rear window/hatch that I could buy. I know it sounds liek a bit extreme replacing such a large part of the car but where the seal is its just holding water and will just get worse. Anyone help? Jez
  22. aha - long time ago but cracked the problem: I bought these rubber band type tools that you take oil filters off with: these wrap round the large nut/bolt things and work really well. I did purchase 2 different spanners (BBS and a BMW) with the hope that they would fit but alas too big. My WORK wheels ones must be lost somehwere in Japan... Nevermind. Thanks anyway people.
  23. It might have been me - what colour was the Supra - Im driving a turbo kitted white Supra with 17 white wheels? I was on the M6 at around 6.30...
  24. Thanks fella - 10 miles then. Should make it ok then! Cheers Jez
