That was very good info - many thanks. I think that the problem here is going to be the valuation. I have looked on Autotrader and Ebay and they vary considerably. What sort of price do you chaps think this is worth if we assume that the mileage is correct and the condition is excellent?

I have been offered one of these as a p/ex against a Supra. A friend of mine might be interested in the Honda but I was wondering if it was a car I should think of keeping as a runaround to replace my tired Celica? The Honda is (in the sellers description) a 1994 2nd owner, 68000 miles verifiable, white with grey leather and 17 inch Team Dynamic alloys. Super condition vehicle, owned last 5 years, fully loaded. Can anyone shed some light on their performance, reliability, fuel consumption etc?

In all probablility, you are going to struggle to get a "nice" UK car for 8k and will more than likely have to put another 2k on that. A GZ aerotop will also cost you a bit more than 8k but you may be lucky enough to pick up a high mileage example for that. I am currently talking to a seller about a nice Silver GZ aerotop with lowish miles and some nice mods but that is going to be selling for closer to 9k.

Firstly, if you would care to look back in the htread I had already praised Sabrina about her car. In fact, I was one fo the first memebrs to see it when she picked it up so please, don't get on your high horse and try to make out I have spoiled her thread. Secondly, if you weren't so easy to wind up with such an obvious inferiority complex, then the threads would not deteriorate into slagging matches. Do you see any other NA owners responding as you do? Now then, instead of whingeing that the big boys are picking on you why don't you grow up and take the banter for what it is.

Mate, by biting at every mention of the NA not being as good as the TT, you are really showing a major inferiority complex. It reminds me of "methinks he protests too much". At the end of the day the Supra NA is an inferior version of the Supra when compared to the TT. Of that there can be no question.
