    Urgent help required!

Apparently, she has got a new battery but it still doesn't seem to be working. I have asked one of the Yorkshire lads if they can help her out.
  3. Well, like anyone out there, after I have finished playing it will probably go for sale but not until me and Josh have had some fun putting it together. This is going to be the French trip car
  4. I bought a car today. OK, nothing really surprising there except I have decided to keep this one as a project car. It is a bog standard 1993 auto TT. It drives really nicely and the bodywork is in exceptional condition for the year so I decided to keep it and modify it on a small budget. So, if you look here and can help, I would be eternally grateful.
  5. ...and decided to keep it for me. It is a bog standard TT auto that i have decided to modify on a limited budget. I am therefore looking for (in no particular order) the following bits to take it to BPU and to tidy up the inside. 1. Cat back exhaust 2. Decat pipes (3" please) 3. FCD Got 4. Boost controller 5. Walbro pump 6. Colder plugs 7. Front seats (would like leather but on a tight budget) Got 8. A pillar pod 9. Gauges (boost, oil pressure, oil temp, etc) 10. After market Steering wheel 11. Front nose cone - not VS thank you. 12. Side skirts 13. Spats 14. Glass headlights Now, whether I can afford all of them is debatable but I do need to take this to BPU so they are the priority at first.
  6. When you find them give me a shout and I will buy 10
  7. Hey Ant - I am glad you are also happy. So, you are glad now you decided to go for that one?

    Urgent help required!

I think it is the remote fob that she uses to lock the car. That also acts as an ignition starter when you turn on the ignition - if that makes sense.

    XS-powewr exhausts

Thank you old chap I wonder what the difference in sound is like between this and the Miami one? The prices are pretty much the same.

    Urgent help required!

I already have - and he just rang me back with advice
  11. Lara has just rang me to say that she is sat in her car and the key fob button to allow her to start the car is not working. I suspect it is a duff battery. Can she override it? It is a Clifford alarm if that makes any difference.

    Miami GT exhaust

Anyone have one of these exhausts on a TT that lives close to me in Oxford or going near Turbofit on Thursday? I would like to hear it live if possible.
  13. I have tried the search button but could not find anything. That may be due to there being nothing to find or the fact that I am crap at this searching lark! Does anyone have any comments or knowledge of the XS power exhaust system?
  14. Tell me about it. I seem to attract them all
  15. I told him that I would not get very far with 11k. Now, if it had been 11m, he may not have seen me again
  16. My friend, I am so pleased to have been able to help you find the car you wanted. Please post up pics and show everyone what an absolutely gorgeous car you have. It is probably one of the cleanest 6 speed TT's I have seen in a very long time

    Another oldy

No, not me - the joke! A biker stopped by the local Harley Shop to have his bike fixed. They couldn't do it while he waited (what's new) , so he said he didn't live far and would just walk home. On the way home he stopped at the hardware store and bought a bucket and an anvil. He then stopped by the feedstore and picked up a couple of chickens and a goose. However, struggling outside the store he now had a problem - how to carry all of his purchases home. While he was scratching his head he was approached by a little old lady who told him she was lost. She asked, "Can you tell me how to get to 1603 Mockingbird Lane?" The biker said, "Well, as a matter of fact, I live at 1616 Mockingbird Lane. I would walk you home but I can't carry this lot." The old lady suggested, "Why don't you put the anvil in the bucket. Carry the bucket in one hand, put a chicken under each arm and carry the goose in your other hand?" "Why thank you very much," he said and proceeded to walk the old girl home. On the way he says "Let's take my short cut and go down this alley. We'll be there in no time." The little old lady looked him over cautiously then said, "I am a lonely widow without a husband to defend me. How do I know that when we get in the alley you won't hold me up against the wall, pull up my skirt, and have your way with me?" The biker said, "Holy smokes lady! I am carrying a bucket, an anvil, two chickens, and a goose. How in the world could I possibly hold you up against the wall and do that?" The lady replied, "Set the goose down, cover him with the bucket, put the anvil on top of the bucket, and I'll hold the chickens."

    Who does Part Ex

I have just bought a stock, black TT 6 speed and may be able to do something depending on your budget and expectations. The black 6 speed is 48k miles, bimta cert, with excellent bodywork. Give me a call if you are interested.
