  1. My sentiments exactly! It's so hard to go somewhere these days (I'm only 27 mind, so maybe I didn't notice it as much when I was younger) & find someone who knows what they're doing! Simple things like getting a McDonald's breakfast in a drive-thru - You try ordering an extra hash brown - it wont be there, neither will napkins, or anything else you ask for! Oh, and the orange juice will be warm too, and it wont be a double sausage & egg, it will be a single, or even a bacon & egg. & that's just McDonalds, where you expect it from! Don't get me started on the other places! Like the Post Office that has 14 kiosks, but only ever has 3 old women working and 30-40 people in the queue on any given time. Incompetent morons!
  2. Now! about 20 seconds ago (10.19am) My girlfriend just saw you from our new house & shouted down the stairs! Anyone?

PMSL! Short and sweet! Maybe you should try and move this to the 'For Sale' section Alan?
  4. Can't have been me, as mine doesn't look too clean with no front bumper on! lol Unless you only saw the back of it?
  5. Prepared!? Certainly not! Although, I've had a lot of people say I've lost weight recently It was my brothers 30th last night, so I saw all the family & talked about them sponsoring us, so should get a lot more in the next few days!
  6. Nice one! I guess you never did get banned in the end then!? Have fun, but be careful! (saying that, I had more back end outs with my 2 NAs than I ever have had with my TT!)
  7. Elliot, 27 blah blah blah! I've started a Myspace profile which is taking me forever, but check it out if you want to know more, as I can't be bothered to write it all out again! http://www.myspace.com/elliot_drew
  8. Yeah, the bumper would be fine on stock suspension, but mine is so damn low & to be honest I want to keep the handling exactly how it is.
  9. My car is ridiculously low, so I've found out the hard way that having a Veilside front isn't the cleverest move I could have made! I know i can jack it back up to stock height, but don't want to lose the stability and grip round corners, although I do love the VS front. Basicly - what aftermarket bumpers have the same ground clearance as stock? I suppose it would include the length of it as well. Could also do with one that you could still use the towing eye with as well! If not, what's the name of that bit you put on the bottom of the stock bumper? They look cool! Thanks for your help guys & gals
  10. I can understand taking the bumper off if aftermarket & low etc, but was is the reasoning for the bonnet? Nice pics by the way Looks like great fun!
  11. Ahh, just found out that Argos & Homebase are owned by the same company or something. My sister works for Homebase so hopefully I'll be able to get a discount through her.
  12. Just moved into a new place and need a home office package. A couple of desks, bookcase, drawers etc for myself and my girlfriend. I've seen a half decent range (Morgan Beech) in Argos which gives a good combination so might go ahead and order them today. Does anyone know any promotions or discount vouchers or anything going on that might save me a few quid? I'll be spending £240 so anything would help! Can any bargain hunters help
  13. Well - who would have thought!? There was no way it was a drubbing like the 4-0 scoreline suggests, but lets face it - Boro didn't seem to have any ideas, and hit too many snap shots (especially The Yak) For once, Pompey took their chances. Boro were all over us, and might even have got back into it when Kanu got away for his second goal, which probably finished the game. Oh well, I'm not complaining!
  14. Can you get underneath and take some photos? Especially if it looks like anything has leaked.
  15. Lost I'm afraid! Only about £30, but spent a lot of money on drinks & still feeling it now! Sunday would be better for me, as Saturday I'd normally be at football (or rugby when I start playing again!)
  16. LOL, there's me talking about being skint & I spent all day yesterday at the races, betting on horses & getting lashed from 1pm till midnight!
  17. Stone the crows Tony! Which Time Team member? Mick, or the scarecrow guy?!
  18. Right, I finally got round to it! £50 for the others from me. Hopefully we'll break the £2000 barrier in a few days Would be great if anyone could spare a £1 or £2, it only takes 2-3 minutes tops and it leaves you with a warm feeling in your stomache knowing it's going to a good cause http://www.justgiving.com/markfutcherappeal All I've gotta do now is get my family to sponsor me! Need to get printing some forms out now... Thanks again folks
  19. I think a draw would be a great result for us on Monday, considering the players Boro have got in their team and the millions they've spent, but you're right, at least we're heading for Europe! Wonder if Pedro will be back!? Thatcher ------->
  20. I'd be interested, but am totally skint at the moment. A couple of months and I'll have some more money (& a stock front bumper probably!) Don't see why there can't be both a normal meet and a track day once there are enough people committed.
  21. I'll be donating today so keep your eyes peeled for me on the list people! I've now got 4 meg broadband (rather than 2) so no doubt I'll be on even more than usual! Thanks again for the bumps Ian
  22. Thanks Carlos, I had checked that thread already but knew it wasn't the crank pulley, as mine had snapped in half before! lol I called the RAC as it was pitch black, and I had no tools at all, and he suggested it was one of the bearings, but he couldn't identify which, so down the garage today I think! On of them seemed ever so slightly loose, which might explain the squeaking, but not sure whether to just try tightening, or getting it looked at properly.
  23. Thanks guys I'm pretty sure the p s pump is on still, unless it's not sitting right. We haven't got a printer here, so can't print the pic but I'm pretty sure they're all still on, so maybe one has slipped Anyone in Watford with a few tools?!
  24. To cut a long story short, after nailing it around a bend earlier I got a really bad smell (burning oil?) and a few seconds later the belt at the front started squeaking really bad. I can't see that it's slipped off anything, but does anyone have a pic to hand so I can double check? I'm round a friends near WAtford, but really need to get home tonight and don't want to call the RAC. Can anyone explain the smell before it happened?
  25. Just realised I haven't blanked out any numberplates in the photos Anyone want me to scrub them out & put the photos up again?
