  1. Brilliant! I'd love a stock Ford GT, but that animal!? Damn right
  2. Sorry guys, I've wasted your time! Just been out to check the car (haven't driven it in a month) & they are still there! I must be going mad! Anyway, at least I know what they're for now! Thanks
  3. Sorted. As the link said, it's to do with Dell's OEM Soundblaster Audigy. Weird that it's only just started happening after a year or so. Anyway, I downloaded the patch and rebooted several times & it's been fine each time - no system32 popping up! Thanks to all who helped
  4. Google it is then! After reading that article I've checked both the HKEY_CURRENT_USER and the HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE sections, and there are about 10 different datas (?) that have " either side of them. Am I supposed to delete all of these?! Sorry guys, am useless at this stuff Have no idea what I'm doing & don't want to delete my hard drive or anything! The data for the SB Audigy 2 is listed as being /L:ENG WAIT!! Just googled that, and this came up! I'll let you know if I find the download...
  5. Sorry to hear about this Ian. Like many others have said, my thoughts are with you and your family.
  6. Yes, it closes no problem. I always close it before turning the computer off, and when I reboot it, it's there again. I haven't had any problems with crashing in ages. It used to freeze every time I turned the computer off, but for about the last month it's been fine. I'm running XP by the way, so not sure if it would be the same as for 2000. I suppose that link would be good if everything was running fine, and it's just a security measure to stop you changing stuff by accident? Or is that something I should be doing now? How do I get into the program manager!?
  7. I think somewhere along the line I've lost these. Not sure if it's because the car's so damn low, with 18s on, or I lost them when I got a new bumper on. I honestly can't remember. What are they actually for? Do they shield anything in particular getting covered in brake dust, grit, mud or something?
  8. Thanks for the replies everyone I've tried that, but have no idea of what half the programs are, and whether they are likely to contain a virus What about REGSVR32.EXE /S CTASIO.DLL That has a 32 in it, but I have no idea what it does! Several times!! I use Norton Antivirus. Is OS operating system? When I first used to get the window opening it was accompanied with a message saying something like "editing or altering files in this folder can make affact some programmes running" or something like that. The only problem I've had recently is my iTunes player keeps makes a distorted noise mid-song sometimes. If I pause the song then play again it's fine! Maybe it's something to do with the most recent iPod updater... Wont that take the computer back to a certain point? Wont all the data since that point therefore be lost? I've got quite a lot to lose if that's the case! I've just tried that, and it only shows 5 programmes. I've tried opening them and none bring up the system 32 malarky Any more ideas people? I guess I should start saving all my stuff to CDs and re-install everything.
  9. For some strange reason, every time I've booted my computer up in the last week or so the system32 folder has opened at the same time (and remained open) I don't remember changing any settings, so anyone know a reason why this would be happening or Know how I can stop it happening?
  10. I'll give you a blast when my cars back on the road! I went down the bodyshop this morning and they've filled, sanded and primed the bumper (cheers again for that!) so Monday / Tuesday they will be spraying and fitting the mesh, end of next week I'll be tearing up the area again! Getting a new phone next week as well, so going to get one with a decent camera on it. Nokia N70 or N90 I think
  11. Wasn't me! Haven't driven mine for about a month Next week I'll be tearing up the area though!
  12. Bloody hell that is good quality, both picture and sound, especially for a phone! I'm still stuck with some Motorola Razr or something, but am due an upgrade so might look into that, but I guess you can only record for short periods. Nice vid as well, very nice!
  13. Does that give sound as well? Has it got a decent mic I mean! I think I'd rather have a camera set up, rather than fumbling around for my phone and driving one handed & trying to record with the other! lol
  14. Thanks Wez, exactly the sort of thing I was looking for! Just a case of getting a camera for it now That's what the delete button is for isn't it? If you get pulled and theres any incriminating evidence I thought it might be good for any potential insurance claims, ie if someone pulls out of a side road, to have the camera on permanently
  15. Can anyone advise a fairly cheap digital video camera to use in car? Something that will give a fairly decent recording, either in hand, or set up on a small tripod or stand in the car. Speaking of which, anyone know any small tripod or stick on things for the camera to go on as well? I want to get some decent footage, but am unsure what to go for.
  16. I've also got one, but in silver with the foglight cut into it on the right hand side. The paint was in good condition, but it's been sat around for a while now so is probably scuffed. I live between Portsmouth & Southampton.
  17. Haha! Out looking for challengers?! I've only found one decent one in the area (R34 Skyline), but I'm sure there are plenty kicking around
  18. Could have gone bowling, but been on the loo most of the day, so didn't fancy it. More importantly, I'm skint! More importantly than that is the fact I'm Supraless for another week...
  19. Many of the spoof ones do include your username, but not your REAL name. Even spoof e-mails can use your real name as well. Easiest way is to not follow links through e-mails, just type the website in yourself.
  20. Not a very good photo, because of the sun etc, but you get the idea!
  21. Right, am off to Nottingham in a few hours (staying at a mates tonight, and tomorrow after the run) Anyone who is interested, my race number is 3499 Thanks to everyone who has sponsored, and to those of you who haven't - IT'S NO TOO LATE! Thanks
  22. Exceellllent! (as Smithers would say!) - you have PM!
  23. Looking for a stock front bumper, as my car is way too low to put the Veilside bumper I have back on! Would love a silver one, but not being too fussy at the moment, so let me know if anyone has one. Oh yeah, got a silver '95 J-Spec
  24. my mate just said 51 minutes till launch good find by the way
  25. Thanks CJ, much appreciated I'm only now printing out sponsorship forms for my family, (I'm a complete slacker!) as most of them want to just give the cash over, but I think it's easier to do it online as it only takes a few minutes, and it keeps a running total! Anyone else feeling generous?!
