  1. Finally got the supe back from the bodyshop yesterday with a Paul Wiffin Do-Luck replica and TRD rear wing fitted and sprayed. Gotta say I think it looks the dogs!
  2. Well, Just got back from Protyre (Just where I wanna be on a Sat morning after a night on the sauce!) and it turns out that the guy who did the tracking hadn't tightened up the camber and toe bolts on the passanger side rear wheel! Anyway it's sorted now and it drives like it should Chris, Got your email and the week fter the 26th is good for me. I'll give you a shout later on to arrange. Cheers Phil
  3. Thanks for the replys guys, but the fact that I can see the rear wheel toe in concerns me , maybe something wasn't tightened up properly after the alignment. I'll see what they say tomorrow when it goes back.
  4. I've just had some 18'' Volk GTN's fitted to the supra with Goodyear F1's 275/35/18 rear and 245/40/18 fronts. I took the wheels and tyres down to my local pro-tyre for fitting and to get the tracking etc done. The drive home has been very strange to say the least! when I go over a bump or especialy a manhole cover the car seems to step out at the back. Bearing in mind that it's quite wet today and i'm running brand new tyres (wider that the ones on my old 17's) is this to be expected? or could it be something a bit more sinister. I've visually inspected the wheels and the passanger rear seems to be 'toed' in quite a bit. Any help/suggestions? Gonna take it back in the morning to see whats going on. Cheers Phil
  5. Someone made me an offer I couldn't refuse , was still gutted to see it go though. The guy who bought it has just bought an RX8 so it's up for sale again! Had a drive of it today and was almost tempted to buy it back! Still, only a couple of weeks till my new one arrives Here she is
  6. Here's a pic of my old one, I know they're not silver but i'm sure one of the photosop geniuses can do work there magic to sort that out! Phil
  7. Got a similar problem myself, only mines on a manual box. Very 'clunky' when I engage first gear. Seems to make a 'ker-chunk!' kind of noise, also happens putting it in 3rd and 5th when at idle. Ive checked gearbox oil and that seems ok, just abit worried now that it may something more expensive!!
