  1. Hi Mark, just wondering if you ever find anybody fabricating the outer door sills?
  2. Yes there's a big difference alright. And then with the difference of the 6 speed to the w58 and a torsion diff to the auto open diff the difference in driving both is night and day
  3. No not at the moment. The price of VRT in Ireland is scandalous at the moment. Will cost around €10,000 just to change the plates from English to Irish
  4. Hi all, Picked up my first supra in 2014 which was an automatic aerotop that was a non runner. Over the years I've made a few changes with it with the biggest changes being a 1jz non vvti out of a soarer and also got a w58 manual conversion and the car has been brilliant. Just wish I had tried pick up the proper 2jz 6 speed running gear at the time to of had a more original feeling car but can't fault the 1jz with the w58. Just recently I ended up getting my hands on another supra with a 2jz-gte non vvti with a 6 speed and A02B diff. Absolutely delighted with the car it drive so smoothly so it does. Weird how the two set ups in both cars feel completely different.
  5. Also I'm looking to use the tires i have now which are 235's to the front and 255's to the back
  6. I'm looking to get a set of wheels for my supra they are 18×9 et25 to the front and 18×10 et20 to the rear...can anyone tell how they would fit cause i really don't get the whole offset thing!!
  7. I recently turned 25 and tried to insure my supra with autoline but they said I'd have to be 30 before they'd quote me on one...wonder is there any companies in England that would touch an Irish car?
  8. I wonder would any insurers in England insure a car in ireland? I'm having no look over here trying to insure my supra on a classic they are coming down very hard on all japanese cars at the moment
  9. What condition is the Kakimoto exhaust in?
  10. Price on exhaust and facelift tail lights if they're still available?
  11. Haha thanks guys....ya 640 was cheap alright especially for such a clean car with an mot only 2 months old but with the plates being €1300 that'll bring the price fairly up to scratch
  12. Thanks trebor69 thats good to know was worrying about how the auto will perform....the turbo's were recently rebuilt so has billet internal steel turbos so was hoping i could put it up to a bar boost....really dunno about the ridox kit i got with it cause I'm really liking the standard look
  13. Hi all....I've been a lover of the supra for a long time but because of The high cost of having the supra in ireland (road tax €1500 for the year) i could only stick to the 2 litres i.e silvia's and evo's....bought a french blue evo 7 two years ago but on the way home someone crashed into me and wrote off the car thought that was the end of my sports car days until recently i spotted a 93 aerotop supra in northern ireland...a spotless black supra with a fresh mot but the engine was gone and a ridox kit brand new in box that was bought from knightracer.....so i struck a deal with him and got the car...so I've recently bought a 93 soarer to use as a donor even though i feel guilty cause soon there will be no soarers left!! I have to register the car on irish plates!! Just wondering could anybody tell me what automatic supra's perform like cause driving the auto soarer it didn't quite feel like 280 bhp (even though it was laid up for a while and did seem to feel quicker the more i drove it) and also is there a difference between the n/a auto box and tt auto box cause I'm worried the n/a auto might not withstand the tt power like how the w58 cant? And could the n/a exhaust be used for awhile until i source nice a exhaust system? Sorry for such a long post and its good to finally be on here
