Could anyone please help me? I have a 1998 twin turbo VVTI, drives really well but as soon as I hit 120 mph it will not go above that. It seems as though there may be some sort of limitor. Is this possible? If so how do I get rid of the bloody thing???? It gets a bit embarassing. LOL.

It may seam a stupid question but why has it got to be uk car are they better than imports? both of mine are imports and ive had no real problems _______________ 98 vvti 94 sz

Thanks for letting me know darren having read the replies and speaking to protech who fitted the delimiter it seems there is a common problem with it on the vvti they thought they had sorted it but obviously not lol

sounds possible as it was imported in feb sounds like i need to speak to the dealer before the warranty runs out thanks for the advice

Thanks mate. The Mods are HKS Induction System and full exhaust. I think that's it. Redlines in 3rd at about 120 if that is any help.

Having recently bought a 98 vvt tiptronic i found that when i give it some welly in auto it changes up fine through to 3rd but it will then red line in 3rd and lose power till i let my foot off and put it down with more respect. anyone got any idea what could cause this and how to cure it please

Having owned a 94 non-turbo for 12 months have now passed this onto my wife and upgraded to my dream. Does anyone know of any pitfalls I may come across regarding this model? Hopefully not too many!!!
