  1. Why? Obviously you dont like them but why? They have 2 websites which makes it look like they are still in business because one is much more updated and looks better than the old one Old - http://www.brs-autodesign.com/bodykits.htm New - http://brs-autodesign.com/brs/ AND the newer website has 'All content is © 2013 by brs-autodesign.com. All rights reserved.' at the bottom of the page so?
  2. Well, exactly that... Whats happened and where have they gone? Do they still make bodykits?
  3. I live on the Whangaparaoa Peninsula (North Auckland)... That is probably all data from South Auckland (NZ Joke, South Auckland is full of crack-houses and methheads ect ect, a place you really dont want to live)
  4. Dayum straight! I lahv you all no matter how much crap you give me for having my 'Stupid' ideas... Also, does anyone on this forum know anyone who has the Amuse R1000 Exhaust on their Supra? If so could you please tell me who they are
  5. And one more thing... I do not live in England, or the US. I live in New Zealand. This kind of thing is unheard of here... Yeah people steal cars but the thiefs here are to pussy to go near a car like a Supra, and especially not one that looks like a fully spec'd out race car (the idea of mine, yeah, I want people to notice it)... Infact, i cant remember the last time a report for a stolen car came out... My car is gonna be garaged and LOCKED UP 24/7 unless im sitting in it... So the whole 'It might get stolen' is not really a problem here, and 'Chop-Shops' dont exist here... And I can guess what your gonna say, But the idea of my car is to look like a Road-legal JGTC, hence why I wanted a JGTC or JGTC inspired kit... The reason I like the BRS kit, is because it looks like a JGTC kit, but, unlike the Tamon Design and ChargeSpeed kits, it still looks like a Supra after installing it... Now, I understand that you guys have obviously owned Supras, Driven Supras, And Sat in Supras, and even looked at them from closer than 10 meters away... I have dont none of the above things, but I am IN FECKING LOVE WITH ALL SUPRAS... I understand that you guys know more about cars and the working of cars and a lot more than me (considering you guys are 20+, and I am 15) But, I really think that this is going to look quite good when its finished, I have never seen one, but I can imagine it in my head... The BRS Autodesign Super GT kit, In Pearl White, With Carbon fibre hood/bonnet, Carbon Fiber Boot lid, and the Carbon Fiber spoiler/wing from the Top Secret supra, and all the ducts/vent grills painted in black so they stand out... I genuinely think, that this will look like one sexy piece of sex... But please im still listening to your opinions... And don't forget, I LAHV ALL OF YOU
  6. GUYS!!! New Supra concept released... I still like the old one way better but this isnt to bad to be honest!
  7. I understand what you are saying, but one of the first things I am going to install is the best, safest security system so sensitive that it goes off if you kick the wheel (my mates Impreza has one that sensitive) with an immobilizer built in as well...
  8. Well thats surprising because they started those tests in the late 70's so I dont see why not... But yeah, opinions on the BRS kit?
  9. And how come there are NO videos anywhere of a Ancap/EuroNCAP crash test thing for the Supra? No data at all on the websites either, its not even an option in the search...
  10. Mhmm, I think I found the one... BRS AutoDesign Supra GT type 2, Sexy as! Theres something about it that makes it IMO better than the Tamon, Abflug, and the Esprit... Ive emailed them asking for some pics in white because the only photos of the kit (apart from ones taken from Forza 4) are these purple/pink ones with decals all over it... http://www.brs-autodesign.com/images/Projects/Supra/DSC_3372.JPG http://www.brs-autodesign.com/images/Projects/Supra/DSC_3364.JPG http://www.brs-autodesign.com/images/Projects/Supra/DSC_3378.JPG Do you think it would look good in white, with CF hood, boot, and spoiler?
  11. Thanks Nic! I think the best out of the three is the Tamon Design, although that TRD Super GT kit is nice, I dont think public can get their hands on it...
  12. I have started puberty, although I dont see what that has to do with anything... And 'camp as fook' british slang from what I remember 8-9 years ago that means gay/homosexual? Thank you for your interest but no im not gay haha, although I have never had a girlfriend but I have given up on trying to get one of those and have started looking forward and preparing for the next most exiting thing of my life, Drivers License...
  13. I also am having second doubts about the bodykit, dont get me wrong, i love the TS GT300, but i think there are better... Now i am probably going to get a LOT of 'shite' for saying this, but I really like the look of the WoodOne Supra off of Gran Turismo 4, I believe that style is called JGTC or Super GT... I have been doing research but have not found any EXACT JGTC kits, on RHDJapan I saw the Tamon Design GT1 kit, but It just doesent look wide enough, and the Chargesped kit looks to square and diverts to much from the original look... Can you guys please list some kits that are either JGTC kits, or are just extremely fecking wide...
  14. Graham im not trying to be rude, but if you dont like what I post then why take the time to read or comment? And Kaan i am getting the Stage 4 but it was just for interest sakes i wanted to know weather the VVTi could handle the same power as the normal block... But obviously im unwanted here again so ill just leave... Thanks for the info
  15. Ok, i have done some research and have been unable to find what im loking for, the diference between he VVTi GTE and the Normal GTE... Now, can the VVTi handle 1000Hp like the normal one? Or is it les, my knowledge of VVTi engines is not very good...
  16. Yeah I know it looks chavvy, but it is just a basic sketch and when its done it will probably be built in with the boot carpet covering the whole setup (so that it doesent look like I just chucked random boxes in...) I want to use that setup but the actual location of the subs and amps may change... And I do want it to be show-car like... Im not going to drive it everyday, it will be used on special occasions or when im bored ect. No offence but i dont see why you guys think it looks bad Edit: Here are pictured of the actual speakers, subs and amps... They are very good looking IMO Mmmmmm...
  17. Haven't been here for a while... Just a little update on the stereo system i will be fitting into my Supra... 2 x Hifonics ATL4CX 4" 30W RMS (Front doors) 2 x Hifonics ATL653 6.5" 45W RMS (Rear) Boot: 4 x Hifonics Triton HF8SQ-i4 200W RMS (Squares) 1 x Hifonics Zeus ZRX2000.4 250W x 4 @ 4 ohm (Squares amp) 2 x Hifonics Mt. Olympus OLM1600D2 1600W RMS (3200W Maxx) (Subwoofer) 2 x Hifonics Brutus BRX2400.1D 1600W RMS (Subwoofer amp) This is what it will hopefully look like when finished (you get the idea) Tell me what you think -Caleb
  18. Ok then, I will buy some high-quality tyres then... And also, i want to have the bucket seats with a 4 point harness (i dont like the look of bucket seats with a normal seatbelt) So, does the cusco roll cage come with a place to mount your harness?
  19. Wow thanks that helped! So the Titan Head comes with all the valvetrain including cams? and the Shortblock comes with the stroker kit im guessing? And sweet i dont need an extra flywheel! Ill just rid the tension set... OHHH One thing... I looked at the cusco roll cage (its a 6-point for Supra) Does it come with a place you can mount your harness? Like a harness bar but built in to the cage... And also, will the Titan Valvetrain be capable of 11,000RPM? Because the Ferrae Valves and Springs ect. are... - - - Updated - - - Ahh, Ill get them from a local tyre shop... They probably wont last long so i dont want to be spending huge $$$ on tyres lol
  20. That is the pic I put up in my old thread! But yeah, that, with the Carbon Fiber hood, Carbon Fiber Boot, and these rims: But i think that will be a nice combination
  21. I can understand that... But I dont have the car yet, I dont even have a license as im 15, in NZ you can get your Learners when your 16, so thats not too long of a wait... Yeah, The price is Immense! I hope it will drop in the 5-8 years it will take me to get my Supra... And i think the big cost is the Engine Shortblock and Head my TMS... If I drop that the price will go down to like $70,000... And im still confused about the body mods I want to do... As i said I like the Top Secret GT-300 kit, with TS carbon hood, and carbon boot, the color of the car will be white (I think...) With Black Volks with polished rim... But Im not sure... I also would like it to be sort of like a Show-Car... If i do keep the GT-300 Bodykit... What would be the best colour? Im still confused about that... Theres not pics online of tbe Bodykit in white with the c/f hood... But there are pics of stock Supra white with the c/f hood and black rims... And they look very nice... And I love how massively W I D E it is... I think im going to stick with that... School now... See you guys later
  22. As I said, this is what I HOPE to have in my Supra when she is finished... I will settle for different things as long as they are similar, and who knows, maybe this stuff will be obsoluete, maybe it will be dirt cheap... I dont know... And maybe when I grow up, I may change my mind and set a budget for the car... But for now... All i have to say is... Yolo
  23. Do you have one? I'd love to hear it! And thanks Marco!
  24. Thanks guys! I Honestly was not expecting it to be that much but boy will she be worth it when shes finished
  25. Firstly, I'd like to apologize for my initial posts - I may have charged at this like a bull in a china shop but put that down to a combination of excitement and a large dose of enthusiasm! For that I apologize and hope from here on I can begin to contribute constructively and ask the right questions in the right way. I'm 15, I make no apologies for that, and I love the Toyota Supra - it's a truly awesome car and it is my total intention that, when I'm working and earning, to begin to build and create what will be, for me, my ultimate car. It will take time and a whole stack of money but everybody starts somewhere and this is my start point. What I want to do is gather a whole stack of information based on builds already done, people's personal experience of certain builds and components and draw on the knowledge of all of you on here. From what I've already read there is an overwhelming amount of incredible engineering expertise and experience and I intend, over time, to read and absorb as much of it as possible. I guess to start to put my questions into context I need to have an aim in terms of what car I'm looking to ultimately end up with, so here is my list of what I hope my Supra will have by the time she is finished: (Some of this says 'For MKIV Toyota Supra' after the name but you guys know that so im not gonna put it there) Engine: - Titan Motorsports 3.4L Stroker Full Race Shortblock - $14,800 (pic has pistons installed and for that price it better) - Titan Motorsports Engine head Stage 5: Full Race - $15,000 (pic has cams and rods installed) - Hypertune intake manifold Race Head - $3,203 - Titan Motorsports 0.5" Headgasket - $345 - Greddy pulley set - $485 - Titan Motorsports 2JZ Cam Gears V2 - $150 - Greddy Timing belt - $172 - Ferrea Dual Valve Springs (good for 11,000RPM ) - $549 - Ferrae Spring seat locators - $105 - Ferrea Exhaust Valves - $353 - Ferrae Intake valves - $341 - Ferrae Valve locks - $115 - Ferrae Valve seals - $42 Total = $35,660 USD (need a Custom exhaust manifold) Brakes: - Brembo Front Big Brake Kit - $3,300 - Brembo Rear Brake Kit - $3,295 Total = $6,595 Clutch/Transmission: - TRD Lightweight Flywheel - $589 - OS Giken Quad-Plate R-series Racing clutch - $2,064 - Titan Motorsports Custon Carbon Driveshaft - $1,780 - TRD Limited Slip Differential - $1,440 - DSS? Anyway, you guys tell me what you think - Caleb
