  1. In the meantime I found out that they have it in Japan and the freight is not too bad. So I think I will go with that. Thanks anyway.
  2. Evening. Can it really be that the oil filter mentioned in subject can only be purchased from USA where the freight alone is around 60-70 GBP to Denmark! Do you know if there is an alternative oil filter that I can use that I can maybe get from UK? The filter looks like this:
  3. As far as I'm concerned, this product is not sold any longer. What would you reccomend instead? The car is running with 630 bhp.

    New Car

Did you treat the dash with something before painting?
  5. Looks fantastic Kåre. Hopefully next year when my car is ready, we can shot some pics together :-)
  6. I have absolutely no experince when it comes to this and what you suggest might be the case. Is it possible to control the boost directly from the AEM? If yes, then how come the Greddy is mounted. Maybe somebody didn't wnat to bother removing it. The red wire from the Greddycontroller goes directly to the AEM.
  7. Hello Folks. While I am stripping down my car, I am trying to locate all the wiring as well. I followed the wiring from my Greddy boost controller and to my big surprise, some of the wiring is not conected to anything!? The wires in quesiton is the green & white. Is this normal? I am running an AEM ECU. Maybe the boost controller is not necessary at all?
  8. After a bit of struggle and some help from a friend the main dash finally came off. So the next step was to clean up all the wiring. Just hope I haven't removed any important wires Think it turned out pretty okay. The car is basically ready to be sound profen now. I also managed to drop of some dash parts at my parents house, where my mom will have a go with some carbon wrap It has become a family project.
  9. Thanks Guys. I think I am going to order from RHDjapan. Looks like a decent price and the freight cost is not to bad either.
  10. It is just becuase I have never ordered from Japan before so I am taking my precautions. Well, I am no rich guy but I think that 485 quid for all is not a fortune :-) So I will save the trouble of buying 2nd hand.
  11. Evening Forum. As a part of my project I am going to replace all existing gauges with DEFI BF gauges. I have tried to do my homework but I still have a few questions I want the following gauges: Boost pressure Oil pressure Oil temp. So what I need to run this, is of course the gauges and the control unit. There is a homepage who is offering a complete package at a pretty good price. Do you have any experince with this homepage --> http://www.nengun.com Maybe you are able to suggest a better webshop ? What about installment? Is there anything I need to be aware of? It looks rather simple to install. Guess the most difficult part is to mount the sensors?
  12. Normally I'm not a fan of red cars but I changed my mind when I saw this the first time. The combination of a black bonnet and polished alloys simply looks awesome.
  13. Hi Jamie. This is my first Supra and don't know how the floor looked like before the donut failed, but now that you mentioned it, it becomes obvious to me that some repair has been done on the floor. It feels strong enough so I am not nervous about that. I just removed the carpet today and it looks pretty new so maybe the previous owner changed it or had it re painted. Anyway everything will be refurbished so the interior and all the things you can't normally see will be top dollar
  14. Yeah to be re trimmed and clean up all the wiring behind. Haha, I can highly reccomend to take it slowly with the dash. Have a few cokes and listen too some music while you are working on it Takes a lot of paitence but this is the first time for me, so I need to learn my way around I am split between getting the dash flocked or re trimmed with leather? I am kinda using this car as inspiration:
  15. Had another go today. Jesus Christ the main dash (think it's called) is a pain to remove. I gave up after an hour. Luckily a friend from the forum is going to help me out next week. I found a lot of loose wires and "crap" which will be removed completely since they have no function. When the main dash has been removed, I will sort out all the wiring behind it. As you can see it will be a few hours of work alone. Less talk more pictures:
  16. You mean the replica kit? Think I will go with the original instead
  17. So Me and the Misses (yeah you heard me right) had a go with the car today. I have to ask Jamie, was it you or the latest owner who assembled the car? Half of the srews are missing and some poor bodywork has been done inside the car. Anyway, it is all fixable On Sunday I will remove the remaining part of the interior. Now some pics. I apologise if the pictures are a bit grumsy but there is not much light in my garage. I will make sure that future pictures will be better. All parts has been clearly marked and the srews has been put in a bag and attached to the respective part. This should make it easier when I assemble the car again.
  18. Nope the audio is not installed yet. It will be once the car has been sound proofing. Yeah the alloys are lovely but in a very poor condition (not easy to see on the pictures). They will be refurbished though.
  19. Thanks, yes this is JP's old Supra. Jamie sold it to a Danish guy back in 2009 (if I remember correctly), and then I bought it from him in 2013.
  20. I am no singer, dancer, football player or mechanic. I am just a regular office guy from Denmark who caught interest of this (IMO) worlds geatest engineering piece of art, when I saw it the first time in Fast&Furious. Back then I promised myself that one day I must own such a beauty. Now 12 years later I finally had the oppertunity to buy one and so I did. I bought the car in June last year (2013) and was practically happy with the look and everything, BUT the more I started to examine the car, the more it became obvious to me that this car needed some serious nursing. As of today, the car will be stored for the next 6 months, which mean that I now have 6 months to pay all my attention to the car and go crazy. My girlfriend is really exicted about that I am primarily going to focus on the interior as I'm pretty happy with the exterior, not said that I don't want to do anything about the extorier, but for now it is more "critical" with the interior. To do list: Totally refurbish the interior Sound proof the whole car Install brand new ICE Refurbish alloys Re-polish engine bay More will follow as we go along. Since it is taking forever to write, I will primarily be posting pictures, but in-put's are more than welcome. This is basically how the car looks today: And a small appetiser That's it for now. Much more will follow, but in the meantime, is somebody able to inform me if there is an easier way to upload pictures than manually copy paste all the time. Takes for ever
  21. Mine does the same. Freakin' annoying
  22. Before you start chasing me. Yes I have used the search button but didn't find any useful answer. I have also tried to search through google without luck. I am often wondering what the right pressure is. Right now I am running 36psi in all four wheels BUT is this correct, epecially taking into consideration that I am running very low profile. Front: Falken 245/35 19" Rear: Continental 315/25 19"
