Bloody well done James dude 'capture video' key did the trick (like you said - little camera) - lets me grab any images I want and its not blanking over previous images either

ah - ok Carlos - I understand but it seems to be letting me grab pictures - just not more than 3 - weird Clarkey I wouldnt have a clue how to rip the dvd to AVI

this is very strange indeed and I have never come across is before - it seems like everytime I have more than 3 pictures 'grabbed' when I go to grab the fourth it overwrites the last one, not allowing me to grab more than 3 pics at a time - has anyone come across this?

ok dude tried the snaggit software - really neat! but it didnt work - same problem, as soon as I removed the dvd the pictures that are there which I save turn black. Im going to try and play the dvd through another programme and see how that works

it cant be copy protection though dude because it is video footage taken at one of my exhibitions and I paid the cameraman! I will do a search for SnagIt

I got some video footage and I had an idea that I would play the dvd through the PC (USING POWER DVD)and pause it and hit CTRL & PRT_SCrN buttons to grab images off the video to put on my website, problem is whenever I grab an image and paste it into paint it doesnt grab the whole image and once I remove the dvd even though I have saved the image in a folder when I go back into it to view the image its just all black - can anyone she some light on this mysterious problem?

Thanks dude but.... I go to dvd/video on nero and then onto 'add video files' but it wont let me drag the whole dvd folder into nero and when I try to do it sepfole by file it breaks each one of them files in the attachment above into 50-60 segements - its driving me mad!

I have a problem! I have a dvd for an exhibition which we recently did and not having a clue about burning dvds im a little stuck. We have some video footage of the exhibition and I am trying to burn some copies of the dvd I have, unlike mpeg movies I have which I can burn directly through NERO (they come as one file) when I open this DVD file I am given a selection of files (see attached) and I dont know what to do with them! I have tried burning them seperatly but it doents seem to work

welll I heard some guy bought a car from ebay and paid via paypal and picked the car up , paypal took a couple of weeks to catch up to the fact the paypal account that was set up was a fraud and reclaimed the money. I have also sent an abusive email back to that person to tell them to stop wasting my time, they havent replied yet. I am presuming if they where genuine then they would have replied back by now.
