Just trying to link up some hardware at the moment with http://support.packardbell.com/uk/item/index.php?i=spec_net2plug&pi=platform_net2plug it seems like a simple short term solution until I move into my new place and have the whole thing set up wirelessly. Question is if I am sharing an internet connection and want both PC's to use the connection at the same time will I need a router to work with the net2plug jobby ?

i've tried changing the bios so it boots from cd first and also manually selected it to boot from the drive. I also have tried to boot it from both drives - thing is I tried the xp copy in my other pc and its fine - could it be this particular PC doesnt like the disc?

Hi All Quick question - Setting up a new PC, Im booting from disc by selecting it from the boot menu however the PC spins the CD but then says 'please boot from drive or select correct boot medium' Does that mean the PC is not recognising the XP cd? I tried it in another Laptop and it seemed fine - could it vary from PC to PC?

its the dinar (same name as saudi currency AFAIK) I think its about 1 quid to 2.5 dinars And we couldnt take any money out and had to change it there

Went last year IMHO if you want to relax in a 5 star with good food and a nice beech its great but there isnt much to do apart from going to the local 'soukes' (sp) - markets and visiting the various towns such as el-jem and Tunis - which are all much of a muchness. Sahara tour is pretty good but overall I would rate it as a 7 out of 10 holiday. If you want to stay in the nightlife make sure your hotel is near/in Tunis otherwise it will be taxi rides wherever you go. Went to Thailand last year also which is awesome and Egypt which is pretty feckin cool too - if you have the budget go for one of these, if its just a 'filler' type holiday to get you along until the 'main' holiday this year then its great place to visit
