  1. Thansk for the tips guys, I'll let you know what I find and how it's fixed! Cheers
  2. Cheers for the replies fella's, he managed to find a specialist in the end apparantly. Thanks again
  3. Hi, It was fitted by the usual Electrician so I'm surprised there's a problem. I'll take the carpet back and try all the connections. I'll get him to open up the control box to make sure all is well in there too. Patience will be a virtue on this one I feel!! Cheers
  4. Hi all, Can anyone help?? To set the scene, had RLTC fitted a couple of months back, adjusted by Phil Wall with the 'correct' settings and all was perfect. However, last week I got in it, fired her up and turned off the standard TC, as usual. But then, while booting off a r/about several minutes later I lost the back end in a MAJOR way and nearly poo'ed my pants!!! After getting my breath back and re-adjusting my trousers, I noticed that when I turned the RLTC switch to the OFF position, the red light did not come on ..... hence no power to the system. I then retrieved the green diode from behind the carpet, but that was still flashing away merrily with the revs. So, for the last week I've left the RLTC in the off position and kept checking it and have discovered that the red light is intermitant. In other words I'm now buggered!! So, to my questions :- 1. Has anyone experinced this sort of thing before? 2. Could this be just a grounding issue? I've seen a few comments before on various different way people have connected the RLTC system to ground. 3. Any ideas? Your frustratingly ........ Darren Cheers:( (Just read this again and wanted to make absolutely sure that no-one gets the impression that I'm suggesting Phil Wall's assistance is in anyway to blame for this, I just took the opportunity to clarify that the system was running 'spot on' before things went wrong!!)
  5. Hi everyone. My good friend who maintains my beloved Supra for me needs to speak to someone who's in the know about the 4ltr Soarers. Would any of you be willing to share any knowledge you may have on them? If so, can you let me have a contact number and I'll get him to call you. Thanks in advance to anyone who can help. Cheers:)
  6. Rich, you have an e-mail, cheers.
  7. Well that just about says it all really, with an hour of Phils time I can now fully appreciate the benefit of having RLTC. The difference is quite startling. My basic file was a joke and so my Supra grin is now even bigger. Many thanks to Phil for his time (or Terminator as the avatar says???????) Cheers
  8. I don't believe that does work, as soon as you start the engine it retracts the spoiler automatically.
  9. That's the only trouble isn't it, I don't liek the idea of having a warning light on all the time, especially when that one covers several areas. I too would like to have the front spoiler down all the time but there are definetely occasions when you'd need to raise the thing, car park ramps and the like. Come on you techie guys .......... put that old grey matter to work to help out us thickies'!!!
  10. cheers Paul, looks like I'll be sending you an order after next pay day. But what about the backs? Any ideas on a clear lense but orange bulb????
  11. Gorgeous car Kev. I think the red really suits these beasts that's why I went for one that colour too. Please tell me more about the indicators, or kindly point me towards the place where you've discussed it all before, cheers. What have you done with the rear indicators and do you have any more pics of the car? Oh so many questions. Cheers:p
  12. are you looking to sell the active spoiler, if so I may know of a buyer!!!!! Cheers:conf:
  13. Hi Gavin, Phil has already kindly sent me through the file but I am keen to know as I won't be able to link the t/pad up for a week or so to tune it correctly. Also, such info may help the guy who's installing it for me so that he knows what to expect. Cheers:rolleyes:
  14. Hi Justin, You may recall I purchased this kit from you recently, part of your bulk purchase I believe, but I have a question. When did you purchase the kits as I believe the later kits now have takne into account that the Supra is a 6 cylinder rather than a 4?? Just wondering what to expect from the basic set up as I'm having it installed tomorrow. To everyone else, does anyone know when Racelogic first updated their system to cover 6 cylinder cars? Matt I see that you and Phil found that was the case with yours. Cheers for any help:thumbs:
  15. Hi all, Just read through this thread (very interesting and great pics of the Blitz Nur Spec tail pipe) but can I just make sure I've got this straight ......... I have a UK 6spd TT and want to upgrade the system but don't want to have to swap it every MOT, so I would assume the best I can do it ..... Replace the rear section with the Nur Spec and replace the front CAT with a suitable replacement. This will give me extra growl and a little extra poke but no worries of over boosting and no need for extra gauges. Have I got that right?? This will leave me with the 2nd, and least restrictive CAT in place to avoid failing the MOT. Cheers for your feedback.
