Is it as strong as normal with the roof on? I'll only ever have the roof off when it's sunny...so hardly ever

I had a full hauser race cage (time attack spec) in my impreza mate,tbh I wanna keep the interior standardish on this as it was a pain to get in and out of due to the side bar I do know what you mean about crashing at a naughty speed though,I have kids aswell.also as I get older (26 now ) I don't feel as indestructible as I once did!

Yeah this will need to be addressed before the power is sorted,I think do luck make something but possibly something else also.any suggestions?

Thanks The spec will be bigger than this,it's an ongoing project over the next couple years.engine for now,then extreme lightweighting for the future.

i will try to get some events over here under my belt before embarresing myself over there would be nice if i could do ok at thunderoad and suprapod next year

the reason i suggested a trio of events is because you would get the overall best cars at the top,the car would have to perform well on track and strip. Do they do time attack in the US? would the drag setup cars be good on track?

yeah would be good I think we would have them on the track but struggle on the rest!

There is a few nice cars about in the UK already and when im finished this hopefully it will be able to join them. Maybe a US vs UK supra series event (ryder cup style) consisting of standing mile,1/4 mile and track day (time attack style) to see who really makes the best supes!
