  1. Hi guys just got my emblems through from Rob (Including a cheeky Supraman logo) and they look awesome! The pics are amazing but they still dont do them justice. My Q is as follows - Has anybody else fitted these? If so how did you go about cleaning the surface area and how are they looking now. (After weather, car wash, jet wash exposure) Also any tips on the best fitting technique. Cheers,
  2. Where abouts are you from?? My local dealership is Waterlooville too!!
  3. I wouldnt worry too much about the mileage. if your clued up on the Supra, and it sounds like you have been doing your homework, you will know that come the apocolypse, the only things that will survive will be cocroaches and the 3.0l Supra engine! The thing really is a machining masterpiece. Just check for good service history, and do the normal checks as you would with any other car and you'll be fine. If your going for a Turbo be sure it hasnt been ragged (you'll avoid that headache if you purchase on here as alot of our members take good care of their Supe's) Good Luck with the search.
  4. Im up for this, new member based in Portsmouth so could meet up with you guys in Brighton and join the covoy from there. let me know of any further deveopments as haven't quite worked out how to 'subscribe' to a thread yet?
  5. Thanks Nic, Any idea of the clearance required? Would rather not fit any spacers if I had the choice.
  6. So as i wish to go UK Spec, providing they provide enough clearance from my current alloys, I *would* require UK Spec calipers also. Thanks for the info.
  7. Heya, I need to get pads and discs all round for my Jspec NA Aero. I was thinking of getting the UK Spec Discs (Larger) as opposed to the original Jspec ones that are currently on it. Does anybody know which dimensions I need to measure to ensure that they will fit, before I go ahead and purchase them? I have 18" alloys on them at the moment if thats any help. Also would I to order new calipers for the larger discs as well? Sorry Im a bit of a noob still when it comes to the Supra.
  8. Thanks for all the welcome messages guys. Makes it easier to part with the £30 Mike, what part of Hampshire are you from? Strangely enough Scotty I was looking at NOS Supra to import as was looking at getting a turbo originally and love the Supra's in White. (Biased obviously)
  9. Im 24 with 4 years no claims, currently driving a Jspec NA Aero Auto. Im on a 10 month bonus accelerator plan with Admiral and its £700 fully comp with unlimited mileage. They were the cheapest by miles for me.
  10. Hey guys, I recently purchased my first Supra and became a fully pledged 20 year member today. Pics In 'My Garage' as not quite got to grips with adding photos on thread yet. Im Paul, 24 from Portsmouth......Waaaaay down South! been into Supra since my teen years and finally in a position financially to purchase (and maintain) my first Supra....of many I hope. I look forward to meeting some of you in the future at meets, and contributing to the forum as well as picking members brains for ideas. Thanks for reading.
  11. Ill attend. Be my first experience of a meet.
  12. Sorry to hear about the time waster mate. (No names mentioned......$hane!) Hopefully it doesnt put you off all new members. (Like myself, got my 20 year membership sorted today) Going through your pics im sure you'll have no problem selling her/him. There are always people on the look out for the Aerotop, especially ones in good nic. They are popular with 'project' members as they see these as an ideal base for a single conversion Aero.....So I hear. Just gotta hope for one of those Warm Indian winters I keep hearing about to help with the sale. Chin up fella!
  13. How much are braided hoses going for now adays then?? As ive just been on the blower and been quoted £440 inc VAT for Stock Discs all round and CW pads all round.
  14. I dont have a clue to be honest. Ill try and take some pics of the discs, pads, caliper at lunch and hopefully you guys can inform me. The previous owner was some oldish fella and he didnt seem to remember. As he had covered only 3000 kms in the last 3 years and had now forgotten.....helpful I know!
  15. Point well taken Neil. Best place to get these bad boys then?
  16. It did cross my mind, but arent these aimed more at the single T and double T boys?
  17. Hi peeps I have an aero import NA JZA80 and am looking at getting new pads and discs. Ideally looking for road Red stuff pads, not to be confused with red stuff racing pads! (I know ppl are divided on the effectivness of these but ive never had a problem with them and seem to be rather effective, possibly as mines not a Turbo.) Anyway, does anybody know what sort of price I will be looking at for this, or better still, know anywhere that I may look to purchase them? Thanks in advance. Paul.
  18. Thanks Nic, I tried looking for the aftermarket one you mentioned but it seems they are impossible to locate nowadays as you mentioned. Think im gonna go see Mr.T about getting a replacement part instead. JZA80 I looked at that thread also and it does look impressive (if not alot of work) the only thing that boggles me is, if the TRD button is the OD switch then where is the button to put the car into Reverse and Park? On a side note do any of you boys know how I can sign up to be a lifetime member? (heard a rumour this is about £30 which seems pretty good in my eyes based on the help ive received so far.)
  19. Hi peeps, I have recently purchased a white NA auto. Good nic but the interior is dogged to say the least. So im looking for some assistance from club members regarding recommendations of suppliers or makes/models for the following: Double Din CD/DVD/MP3/SAT-NAV Combi, replacement dash (possibly carbon fibre look or white.) F1 type steering wheel, I already have a BOSS on the current one which is MOMO but again this has seen better days. Automatic Gear stick (either replaced or current one restored - basically the material is coming off after years of shifting.) If anyone has any experience fitting any of the above please lend me your tales as I like to think im a dab hand at the DIY jobs but am new to car interiors. Thanks in advance, Paul
  20. Jackso you are a Leg-end! Thanks very much.
  21. I have no idea to be honest, hang on a sec, it says META system on the fob. has 2 buttons on it. Altho top one locks and unlocks the vehicle. The bottom one (this is gonna sound odd) just sets the alarm off??
