  1. thanks for all the opinions on the rims yeah these are actually on top of my list. I will most likely get these, the rims are deep dish so I think chrome lip will look good instead of all out black.

  3. here you go http://img843.imageshack.us/img843/8973/68360923.jpg http://img413.imageshack.us/img413/4135/landguard16640x479.jpg
  4. which ones do you guys think look best? Just looking for some opinions that's all... I personally am a fan of the black with chrome lip look. 1. black with chrome lip http://img337.imageshack.us/img337/3346/98122881.jpg 2. gold with chrome lip http://img44.imageshack.us/img44/650/21014674.jpg 3. grey/silver with chrome lip http://img832.imageshack.us/img832/6300/71909901.jpg 4. matte black http://img841.imageshack.us/img841/4949/83729649.jpg
  5. damn... that's going to be a tight fit. I think I'm gonna do it, it should look pretty good once it's all done.
  6. The rims are XXR 521 which look like this: http://www.scsinternationalinc.com/ebaypics/52188142N_GAL.jpg They are deep dish style rims. XXR has pretty good quality rims for the price, and right now I need money for other things aside from cars which is why I'm going with a lower-end brand. how much rolling do you think will be required in the rear? just a little bit? I'll be buying them in two days.
  7. they'll just about fit on 275 tires you mean? or 265? I've asked a few other Supra people and none of them were 100% sure becuase high offset like this on Supra isn't very common that I know of. thanks again.
  8. thanks! the side skirts are top secret, I will also be buying a top secret front bumper after I get new wheels. but aside from the wheels, my main concern is will +25 offset and 10" rim fit on a stock body? becuase I would rather not have my fenders rolled, if I put 265 tires would that work?
  9. Hi guys, hopefully this is the right section to get my answer. I will buy buying a new set of rims and rubber very soon. front: 18x8.5 +30 offset rear: 18x10 +25 offset My concern is about the rear due to the pretty high offset, but this is the look I'm going for (aggresive). If I did 275 tires in the rear I was told my fenders may need to be rolled? what about if I did 265 in the rear? and for the front should 235 or 245 be good? the front tire profile will be 40, rear 35. btw, my Supra is a 1993.5 NA 5-spd. here's a picture of it now, I want to keep it the same height when I get the new wheels because the fitment should be good. I'm selling these because they are ONLY 7.5" all around, not good for a sup. cheeers!
  10. This happens to me also. Sometimes my idle will be like at 500/600 and my car shakes... normally when it's at 900 it's very quite. Don't know why this happens.
  11. or maybe these: these are all 8.5 / 9.5
  12. Silver. That's why I want wheels with a polished lip Here's a picture of it, note that I'll be changing the bumper to top secret and might get a rear diffuser also. http://img708.imageshack.us/img708/6323/481155107424a986f0f4b.jpg
  13. Thanks for all the responces, some good info in this thread now I still might go with 8.5 x 10 in the rear, but the offset will require some fender rolling for the 10's (XXR 521 rims), unless I find another set of rims with a higher positive offset. These are on the top of my list, 8.5 x 9.5, my car is non-turbo and I think 9.5 fitment would be pretty good.
  14. Just checked it out for a good amount of time, couldn't really find something that interested me with proper size. But if you know any other stires or sources feel free to share, would appreciate that! For +30 in the front and offset of +25 in the rear, is there anything wrong with this setup? like I said I'm not really good at the offset thing, but does it basically mean with a lower offset the rims will just stick out more rather than going in?
  15. It's hard to find a right set of wheels that look a certain way, a specific size, and for a specific price, I looked around but no luck... Right now I only have 7.5 or 8 in the front with 225 / 40 tires and honestly it looks okay... I think 8.5 with a +25 offset front should be fine, I'm more focued on getting better fitment for the rear. the 18x10 set are deep dish (with 3.5" polished lip) and black mesh style. I also think that 18" should be fine but I'm still considering 19's. thanks
  16. Well actually I'm kind of on a budget, and to have the flexbility to chose the exact size those would be higher end brands. I am just looking at sets, right these are the ones I'm looking at: from first post: 18x 8.5" in the front with +30 offset - 40 tire profile 18x 10" in the back with +25 offset - 35 tire profile or: 18x 8.5" in the front with 35 offset 18x 9.5" in the back with 35 offset So if I go with option one I will most likely need my fenders rolled/pulled to make them a bit more extended in the rear? I'm actually not to good with calculating the offset on rims but with a lower offset the rims will basically stick out more right? as a higher offset will make them closer inwords?
  17. I know most of you are from the UK, but I'm from Canada, so Hi! new member here. Anyways, my 1993.5 NA 5-spd Supra came with a set of Rays Volk Racing SE37 rims (18"). I'm not sure exactly on the width but they are around 7.5 or 8" all around (18/225/40). I'll be selling them and getting a set of something new and more aggresive for the Supra. I know that the bolt pattern is 114.3 my only concern is about the fitment on my rim choice including width and offset. Do you guys these wheels should go fit a 1993.5 Supra good without any fender rolling? It is stock body with, just top secret side skirts and bumper. 18x 8.5" in the front with +30 offset - 40 tire width 18x 10" in the back with +25 offset - 35 tire width
