  1. to save any further p.m's there not for sale yet & wont be for a while got sooooo much stuff to do before i get to do this. just after some idea of price so i can sort my build budget out!
  2. hi im going to totally strip my supra tt for drift use & will have a full black leather interior to sell! how much should i advertise this at, its very good condition with minimal wear on driverside bolster & mint everywhere else (car has only done 51k & well looked after) & would come with everything doorcards, carpet all trim & fittings! a guideline would be very helpfull as i have no idea!
  3. oh and prop's i have obviously the auto prop from the supra & manual prop from the soarer. will either fit or combination of both?
  4. the soarer is worth more in parts fairy smashued due to drifting & very nato green! almost half what i would get for it would go on a new orc clutch!!!!! thats without all the messing trying to sorce the bits for the box conversion. im happy with the r154 tbh 6speed would be overkill for my requirements. dont want to 1jz it as my 2j is in alot better condition only having covered 51k & the soarer was imported from japan having been used as a drift car there for god only knows how long, since then has been subjected to my bad servicing intervals & given deth. to clarify will the 1jz flywheel fit the 2jz engine?
  5. right i have a 1jz soarer tt with a r154 twinplate orc & a tt supra auto. im going to break the soarer in favor of the supra & would like to convert the supra to manual using parts from the soarer my question is 1: will the 1jz orc twinplate mate up to the 2jz 2: are 1jz & 2jz bellhousings the same 3: do i need any other parts prop etc
  6. +1 my manual soarer had been converted in japan! & i looked at another manual the only one in the uk i could find forsale at the time that was also previously an auto! very very rare!
  7. from what i have heard w58 box will be ok for standard 1j power, mk 3 supra turbo (7m engined one) has an r154 box & can be found very cheaply i bought one for £75 recently and driftmotion do the r154 bellhousing thats the best route imho.
  8. balls! think id better take it in somewhere to have that done!
  9. are the radiators different for the manual and auto supra tt? need one desperatly on an e-bay listing i found it stated manual only n mine is auto!
  10. im desperatly in need of a rad for my auto TT i dont have the entitlement to post in the wanted section yet! does anybody have one avaliable or would someone mind popping a wanted ad up on my behalf, with my board name so can be contacted through that via p.m.
  11. well worth the wait tbh! i had a e reg non-turbo many years ago when i was 18, have wanted a tt ever since so i have waited along time aswell!
  12. i believe you need a 1uz-fe to r154 spacific bellhousing!
  13. the weight thing can be an advantage with drifting, i found my old s13 extreamly snappy when i put it on a weight reduction plan. the soarer i have has full interior ac the lot & its better than any leightweight car i have drifted even on a small track such as pod or norfolk arena! the cost thing i do understand after buying my road car but most serious drift drivers are more than compitant spinning spanners so: soarer auto for the engine ecu etc + supra na + 7m turbo r154 + jz bellhousing is far from expensive in comp car terms.
  14. about bloody time tbh! still cant understand why there is not more already. will have to checkout the project section for some insparation.
  15. i do love my soarer just think that a full comp spec supra would perform better & certanly stand out more there were a few soarers competing in the uk this year not totally sure but have not spotted 1 serious spec supra, shorter wheelbase is more suited to my taste. & the supra seems to generate more traction.
  16. supra totally bone standard, 42000miles and staying that way. soarer is my toy so: orc twin plate clutch, hks fmic, walbro fuel pump, tein coilys, arches been pulled n flaired 2", vertex ridge kit, stainless twin box twin catback, bucket seat n harness, fly off handbrake button, blitz filter. the plan is to buy a n/a auto supra n transplant the 1jz + gearbox all the nice bits into the supra. soarer is not too bad just dents here n there but i just love the way the supra handles alot more livley on the rear, and thats on standard suspension! always wanted a supra as a comp drift car & now i have bought one for the road i now realise how good it could be.
  17. thought i best introduice myself, i have recently bought a supra tt for road use which i love to peices! this has lead me to the realisation i need another one to replace my soarer tt drift car.
  18. cool, cheers that may well save some hasstle found the torsen in the soarer fine for drifting! saying that this is going to be a more compitition focused car so will probs end up with a 2way.
  19. do all supra's come equipped with an lsd or are n/a's open?
  20. right i have a manual soarer tt, after smashing it a little at norfolk arena drift days & purchasing a mk4 supra tt for a dailydriver (which i love) have decided i would like another one for a pro drift car build, planning on buying a n/a auto for mucho cheapness & plonking the soarer 1j engine box etc in. question 1: will everything bolt straight up? 2: would i need to use the n/a supra prop, soarer prop, get a supra tt prop? 3: do supra n/a come with torshen diff if not does the soarer one fit? 4: would i need anything else for the swap? want to get a budget together dont want to be left with another project car i cant use due to overlooking a essential item i cant afford.
