  1. Plugs? Hmm...can it be? Shouldn't it be there all the time then? I searched for a few weeks already but couldn't find the exact problem like i'm having.
  2. But strange thing is that the rev don't go up and even with full trottle it shifts at 3000rpm. Today it happend again. Turnt the engine off, started again and the problem was gone... Should allmost say some electric problem...but what??
  3. The plan was to put a stainless steel silencer between each of the pipes. But after all the advise i've got till this far i really have to think over the idea and see if it's still a good thing to do.
  4. Thanks for all the advise guys. I'm gonna dive into it a little more now and look extra after the things you mentioned!
  5. Thanks for the pics! To be honest i don't like how this looks. I'm planning to put them in the skirts infront of the rearwheels. Hope that looks a little smoother than this one does!
  6. Idea where i can find a picture of it? allready searched the web a little but came out blank.
  7. I've got a EU spec LHD A/T TT. The car runs fine but sometimes when i floor the gas i'm missing the power. It feels like it is driving in few gears to high. It goes to 3000rpm and then it shifts up again. Whatever i do the rev don't go up. When i put the ignition off and start again the problem sometimes is gone. But most off the time it's still there. Occasionally the problem doesn't come at all and the car runs fine. I've got no idea where to look. Is it the transmission? Elektronic problem? If someone experienced the same or has a clue please let me know. Thanks!
  8. Anybody got experience, or ever saw sidepipes on a supra? I think it will look really good! Soon i'm gonna take the engine out and take good care of the car. New paintjob etc. Now i'm thinking of making a sidepipe on it instead of the normal exhaust. Planning is to go from the downpipe to the left and right side true the skirts. The downpipe is 3". Can anyone tell me what diameter should be the best for the two pipes that go to the side? So the 3" downpipe will go over in two pipes. Thanks for the advise!
  9. Chris, thanks! I will go after that. Totally agree. The ass started sliding and he tried to steer it back... The result we see...didn't really went like planned i guess! He still wants to keep a Supra but i'm advising him to stop with that thought untill he's a little older and have more experience in driving fast cars. This is what happens if people drive a fast car without any experience luckely nobody got hurt! The repair will be done by one of the best craftsman i know the chassis is still ok that's allready checked.
  10. Thanks for your advise! What exactly do you mean with PAS rack? (my english is sometimes not that good;) )
  11. Thanks mate! Then i can go after some parts!
  12. I got it standing here at my shop next to the old car of gaz from Envy. I'm still working on buying it from that guy goes i prefer to have the steering wheel on the left side. I think by the end of the week i can say it's mine!
  13. The owner doesn't want to sell it for parts and loves Supra so much that he doesn't want without one. (he owned this one 10 days before he crashed) Car will go to an excellent bodyshop and soon will be as new. Chassis allready went on original Supra Moulds and this is still straight!! Happily the damage looks much worse than it is. Anyone knows if the wishbones, steering rack, shock etc are simular to a Jspec? I got another jspec here so i will check and compare tomorrow but if anyone can tell me it saves me some extra work! .....and the colour.....well lets put it nicely...NOT MY FIRST CHOICE EITHER!
  14. Thanks for all the reply's! After reading all your experiences i think it's better to play save indeed! Thanks for the good detailed picture, both the rack and track i need to replace than!
  15. This week i will bring the wheels to a repair shop. They did a great job once for me so i hope they can do it again. The wheelhub still looks ok, steering rack you mean that steel thing that goes from the steeringhouse to the wheel? The brake cilinder still looks fine, only the disc is in 4 pieces. Will put up some detailed pictures later so you guys can tell me what i need!
  16. Thanks! That were the answers i was looking for!
  17. well....it was not completely snaped off.... it was hanging on his breakingcable! Luckely it wasn't me who drove the car, i bought it like this and hope to get it on the road soon!
  18. No problem for becoming a member. But till this point i have no idea how to name all the things i'm looking for so if someone can help me with that, will be great! Someone was driving the car and he was claiming to drive around 30kph.. i have my doubts!
  19. After having a little accident with the sidewalk i've got a car here where the left front wheel snaped off. It's a EU spec car with LHD.I think the parts i need are the same as UK spec or Jpec? Or am i missing something.. I'm looking for the parts that i need to get it on the road again only my English is not that good that i know how the name all the parts that i need. Can anyone help me out? The wheel snaped off on the hub, so all the bearings are out, steering ?? broke off, suspension , balljoint, fusee etc.. Someone has something laying around or knows where to get it please let me know! Thanks Bjorn
