Isolation is doing me no favours. I’ve heard a rumour your car might feel a little inadequate sitting on 1 sixteen, don’t let it go out to play with the other Supras, especially if it’s on the rear axel, front axel will be fine, apart from the other Supras poking fun at your car’s special boot

Keep up the great work, can’t wait to see the finished car with all the effort you’re putting in. Don’t forget I keep stumbling across bits and bobs, so give me a shout.

Very random, however, I don’t want to apply for a visa every time I want to visit the Nurburgring. Yes it’s not perfect, but in a world where I can order a part from a Japanese tuning shop on Sunday night and it arrives the next Thursday, do we need to put up barriers? We are all citizens of planet earth, let’s remove all boarders and roam our planet, make friends and enjoy. Just my little utopian view. Love to all.

Make: now sold. Toyota Supra Model: RZ SIX SPEED MANUAL TWIN TURBO Year: 1993 Facelift: NO Mileage: 135000 MILES MOT remaining: 6 MONTHS Service history: NOT A FULL HISTORY, HOWEVER MOST WORK DOCUMENTED Car's location: SHEFFIELD Modifications: PRETTY STANDARD, AS THINGS HAVE NEEDED REPLACING, THEY’VE BEEN UPRATED Good bits: The car has covered 37000 miles in the last 13 years and has just been used as a fun toy, I’d always dreamed of owning a Mk4. It has spent most of it’s life garaged and never seen salt on the roads, so the underside is tidy and rust free. Last year it had a good seeing to, with serviced brake calipers, new seals and pistons, new disks and pads, yellow stuff. The intercooler had seen better days, so replaced that with a front mount item, this high lighted the weak power steering cooler, so that was replaced with a mishimoto cooler. The water system was done too, with a new water pump and all new coolant hoses, the heater matrix was replaced about 7 years ago too. All the belts were replaced as it was approaching 6 years since the cam belt had been last done. To complement the power steering cooler a new pump was fitted too, along with a new alternater. It also has a blitz dump valve and HKS mushroom filter fitted. The front bumper has also been changed for a genuine Do Luck bumper. Other than the items replaced, it is pretty standard, running standard boost, so the engine feels great and doesn’t smoke. I’ve quite a few spares that I’ve bought over the years, from mechanical to cosmetic, like wheel bearings, abs sensors, hubs etc. Bad bits: Here we go! It’s the body work. It could do with some TLC. The laquer has cracked on the roof and being red, the colour has oxidised too, the side skirts have cracked, however, I have a new set to replace them. Had to be careful once it was finally bled, using a big syringe I pulled the excess fluid off, and set the correct level. All good.

I’ve recently had the very same problem. I have just put a rather large pas cooler in the car, and couldn’t bleed it at all. I ended up cleaning the filter, flushing the system and then using a 1 litre pop bottle, placing it over the reservoir, went for it. Eventually it did bleed up and now works a treat. I’ll try and post a video of the deed. I know it’s. it ideal, but hey, it worked for me.
