It was a private seller, its got some black and chrome 5 spokes 18s fitted with brand new tyres.

Yeah, have driven it. The car is parked up outside awaiting a freshening up. The paintwork is showing its age but the seller told me about that. Also the radiator needs replacing. It cost me just under £3k which i reckon is good for because i was after a white manual non turbo. After seeing a couple which were ropey or repainted, i settled for this.

Finally found a genuine white supra with do-luck front bumper, trial rear. Hks filter, stainless exhaust, lowered. Just awaiting some bits and then hopefully getting it re-sprayed gleaming white to freshen it up and make it look nice. Bought it off ebay, it doesn't come with wheels in the pictures though! Looks to be a quality import comes with all the jap paperwork etc. Been in the UK for 9 years, body is rust-free so probably undersealed, il be getting it wax-oiled again after the spray. Its a 3.0 N/A manual which i was after rather then an auto!

Just for looks really, the late ones look gorgeous without a kit. The SZ-R and RZ-R i think. but the early models i prefer with a kit.

Michael Jackson did not die in hospital, He was murdered! Officer Billie Jean told Sky News that they don't know whether he's Black or White. The media turned up and the info was limited so they were told to Beat It. All the FBI know is that the suspect is a Smooth Criminal...

Go for the Type-R, A touch over £3k will see a rough ukdm or jdm 96 spec. Ideally £4,000 will see you in a decent 96 spec or a nice ukdm spec. If your not in a rush, you might be able to get a 98 spec import which is the best one to have.. Group 17 insurance, although everything else is cheap as chips. The UK model has 185 bhp, and the import 197 bhp due to the import having a larger manifold and exhaust. White is the common color in these, Import front end. UK front end. http://photos.evo.co.uk/images/front_picture_library_UK/dir_426/car_photo_213207_7.jpg

The good cars are still fetching the money, its just the bottom end of the market which has crashed. Also if you look around on the classifieds, most of the decent cheap ones have gone. Only rats left now..

http://www.mkivsupra.net/vbb/showthread.php?t=189530 That should help your fears lol, You can be assured i am on the lookout for a Supra. Has to the right one though. The Supra above i recieved in a part-ex deal. The eyelids and bumper came with it although it had some nice extras like the Xenon kit, Stainless exhaust and TeinCoilovers. Didn't know i'd struggle to find another white one in decent nick otherwise i would have kept it!

Top Secret V1 i was told, although it got damaged and i got a free Do-Luck one from a friend which was fitted afterwards.

It was turbo'd teg, i'm not a troll. Just looking for a new Supra as my old one was damaged by the police so i sold it to my mate! http://img262.imageshack.us/img262/3026/dsc03147800x600qh7.jpg

My old supra was a 3.0 N/A and im looking for another one as they are fab to drive and cruise in and look awesome. Don't quite fancy a TT as it will be my daily driver although a couple of my mates have got TT supras as toys so i have seen them go, there wasn't much in it between an E36 M3 BMW which did take a slight lead. In a straight line, the supra would probably whoop the s2000 once its in the mid-gears but around a track the s2000 is very nimble. Maybe im just too much into the Hondas lol. I bought it as it was, fully HKS turbo conversion done by t-d-i plc, mapped on autronics by mark shead of M.A Developments. Handling was great on it for a FWD, alot better any other honda i've to be honest as said they have got alot of understeer but i was suprised with the teg due to the short rack and LSD. It was 280ish bhp and 200FT lbs of Torque, very small quick spooling Turbo. M24 which is similiar to a t25/t28.
-
It was abit naughty not to mention that bit...
-
I havent driven a supra TT, but i whooped quite a few in my integra type-r dc2
-
240 bhp standard, light as a feather and will probably whoop a stock TT around a track.
-
Going by the writing on the pipes, i think it maybe a hks or arc fmic.

Is that S200 from scotland by any chance?
-
Oh well, never mind. Just thought i'd let other people off the forum who might be interested know the problems with it. I hope you aren't offended, the comment about it being tarted up for sale was just a thought i had as these cars are often sold by back street traders/importers.
-
The rust was appearing under the drivers mirror base. The targa had rust along the rear and at the edges. The paint was bubbling up so it was definately there! Also there was purple paint in the rear boot shuts? Seemed to have gone like this.. Original red, painted purple flip paint and now pure diamond white. The car was a looker i have to admit.
-
It would have cost me just materials for the paintwork as my buddy does bodywork. It was the targa which was the worst bit. I was after a manual anyway, Just has to be white hence i went to see this. Also viewed this last week, It was advertised at £4,000 back then. http://www.pistonheads.com/sales/959883.htm Similiar sort of problems, this was a genuine white but mismatched paintwork all over. Bonnet was cut/vented by owner. Mismatch of front/rear wheels.

http://www.pistonheads.com/SALES/1101225.htm Went to see this yesterday, it was a 350 mile round trip. Unphased i set off. Finally got there at almost 10pm due to traffic on the m40-m25! Upon arrival, first impressions were what a superb looking supra! Looked amazing, Fitment on kit was good. Upon closer inspection: There are several spots of rust. Mainly the targa top which suffers alot from the rear seal and edges. Mysterious brown spot on rear bootlid, possible rust hiding underneath. The paintwork was done by a blind monkey, overspray everywhere. Also not noted was that the car was not only resprayed but had a colour change done from red. (the engine bay was red still). Also noticed from looking at the rear boot shuts that the car had a purple flick paintjob to is probably after the red, This was confirmed by the center console inside the car which was the same purple-flick paint. Few loose wires in the engine bay around the headlight area. Possibly neons or some sort of LED lights. Fan cover missing, fitted with a HKS Mushroom filter. Interior: Good condition but heavy wear on the front seats, mentioned it was lady owned before.. Parcel shelf missing. Spare wheel missing, tool kit missing. Ariel damaged/incomplete. Front arch-shields both missing. Test drive: Drove great and very fast. No strange noises, exhaust note was spot on. Suspension was standard, exhaust looked to be stainless steel throughout. All in all, It was nothing as suggested, just tarted up for a quicksale (by the owner before whos got it now) in my opinion. Full re-paint will be needed as its flaking off in places also. Verbal agreement on the phone was for £4,500. Upon viewing, my price in my mind was £3,800 to account for the paintwork needed but i offered £4,000 and the seller wasn't interested so i left it at that.

Spotted this around sousse in tunisia while on holiday. possibly a JDM but had the uk plates on it j17mrl or something reading like that. silver in colour, infact sure it was a JDM as i remember the headlights were yellowing!
-
Shouldnt be too hard matey, i sold my honda to a guy from netherlands. He trailered it back with no problems.
-
I have seen the white MR2 up close in person. The kit is pure fibre-glass which when you tap sounds real hollow. Its a keighley trade centre import too lol, the guy was trying to tell me its got 45k-kms
-
seem all right to me, its a simple case of knowing what to look for. I know people who have bought cars from there at cheap prices, just try to avoid any turbo car from it!
-
Its my forum name, One of the first cars i owned was a fire breathing Nissan Pulsar GTiR import.
