  1. Am I the only one who doesn't like Amo's car then? Dodgy chav LED lights, don't think those mirrors fit, interior tacky, and it's pink.

ooooo come on thorin, the interior is white leather, its beautiful. each to their own, hes won so many awards its unreal.

  2. Sorry but as the shell is from a 94 vintage it cannot be considered a NEW TRD nor Supra - replaced 90% with new parts yes - but not a brand new 2010 car!

Also which 'one' guy do you mean ? Dusty at MVP? or either of the two guys at SP, the engine builder or the guy/s in the bodyshop that did the body and paint?

Don't get me wrong as I really love Infernos car but hardly rebuilt by just one guy taking into account he is in Oz and all the work was done in the States! True he funded it but never actually built it - unlike Hodge who IS doing nearly if not ALL the work himself !

Which is why my vote goes to him

infernos supra is sopmething else, nothing can top that because its a brand new TRD supra lol.

from all the project threads though excluding infernos i think IMO that Hodge's wins hands down. that car is like infernos, its been taken apart and rebuilt by one guy! a lot of passion in his project!

re-read my post! i was talking about HODGE! he being the 'one' guy who did everything himself!

  3. Mile events are hard on the car but you should be able to hold the car flat out without worry IMO, if you can't do that what the point in tuning the car for more power? I knew my car was not best but I took the risk, I was already getting some smoke and running my injectors at 100% is very risky an all.

It's not the worry of the car breaking that stops me from doing these events in future, it the worry of having a very high speed crash.

Going full opposite lock at 150+ mph is not my idea of fun, the track was dangerous IMO.

Just emailed Lee a huge list of upgrades to be done to the car over winter, he is going to love me:d soon as Lee has pulled the engine the body is off to nur motorsport for various jobs.

    Jamie:)

start the 3rd bit of the project with all that! cant wait. i think i know what your up to :D

  4. infernos supra is sopmething else, nothing can top that because its a brand new TRD supra lol.

  5. I don't think you can blame the doctors for your illness. Perhaps this is a result of the stopping smoking thing. Who knows. If the x-rays aren't showing up any shadows then I'd say that was a good thing.

i guess so charl but the doctor doesnt seem bothered. i mean its like, take this and get out. boo hoo if your not well. i remember last year going to bupa and the consultant i visited was so kind and spent ages checking me up etc. i visited my doctor now 4 times since this has started and i keep getting the feeling that he doesnt really give a hoot.

  6. Yeah, Adnan, this question had also crossed my mind - when was the last time you had a TB Mantoux test done (the injection under the skin on your forearm)?

Has it ever come back positive, and/or have you had the vaccine (the big ugly scar-causing immunisation on your shoulder)?

I'll send you some breathing stuff.

im all clear on that. have always kept up to date on the vaccines and every time i go abroad i get a shot even though i dont need to.

just spoke to the doctors surgery and they have recieved my new x-rays showing that yes there is a lil congestion but nothing important just the usual, nothing to worry about. how useless are the doctors these days! how the hell can all be fine if i feel like i have a truck on my chest and im coughing my lungs out?!

  7. i had what it sounds like you have...for 2 months,it was the worst thing i have ever known...there are a lot of people who have had it...the coughing is terrible violent bursts of almost being sick, and worse at night and morning...doc gave me an inhaler and 3 courses of amoxycilin...

yep thats i have. :( its coming up to 2 months now, its getting slightly better but very slowly and its driving me nuts!

  8. What preventer are you on? Do you use a spacer? How often do you use medication?

i used to use the brown first but now on an orange. 2 puffs in morning and 2 puffs before i go sleep. no spacer, pump straight in mouth.

Have you used any breathing lung clearance techniques? I can PM you the ones I used to use in the hospital on my patients, if you want ;)

    none what so ever :(

anything that will help bud will be awesome!

  9. ooooh get you mister. :D

my mum fell off a ladder 6 years back and broke the tail bit of her spine, dad had i put in for her while she was recovering. doctors didnt notice it was broken till my mum started getting really bad a year after she fell and dad took her to BUPA. they found the problem but sadly enough tissue and nerve damage was done. she all patched now but she gets mega sore if she stands for too lung but the sauna fixes her right up!

  10. Have you tried a Turkish Bath???? Its got to be a steam room, not a sauna but after having one you wont believe the stuff you cough up, if I had one after sanding/painting a certain colour car then i would cough up all sorts of that cars colur stuff !!!!

i have a sauna in my house. you can input stuff like vicks that it mixes with the steam etc. i have tried that i feel releaved for maybe and hour or two and then i feel tight again.

temperature changes play havock! say im at work, im fine for a while soon as i step outside and take one breathe of outsides cold area im coughing like mad, throwing up (due to the pressure of the coughs) and its nasty.

  11. You've smoked for quite a way so the body is pretty much now clearing out your lungs. At the moment, I've got quite a bad cough & chest has been slightly painful but it's been like this for 2 weeks. Personally I'd think about Asma (not sure how it's spelt), I'd get the doctors to look into this, now this is no professional advice but I have a gut feeling it could be to do with that.

i am asthmatic dude but i only get a weezy chest when im ill otherwise im fine unless im around a very very very dusty area like a building site and im breathing all the dust in. i have pumps etc. its not the asthma thats killing me, once i take the pump i cough even more lol!

  12. thank dude, i wouldnt say i have caught something else because i havent recovered from the first issue. im still coughing during the day like i was before when i got messed up. its like my lungs feel as if they have shrunk. i struggle to get huge grasps of air in. i have never ever been like this before, i have had flues and chest infections before but never this. its just not going :(

honestly since i have quit smoking my body has lost the plot! your supposed to get better health arent you once you quit?!
