ok, had the clutch off the sup today and it is totally FUBAR'd!

now heres my dilema:-

1. need the clutch very quickly, so can get it fitted ready for suprapod

2. money is very tight, sold all the blood and semen from my body as well and have managed to get around £500 together

3. have a single sup approx 500hp and stock flywheel

4. drive a lot through central london, a lot of stop and go, racing puck clutches - no thanks!

after annoying good old Darryl (HOMER) for ages we have come to Southbend OFE HD Stage 3 Clutches which are very good but need some more views on it! the guy in the states said he'll charge me £512 for the clutch and delivered from the states within 3 days. (£400 -clutch £112 - shipping)

many have suggested centreforce clutches but struggling to find a uk dealer that has stock otherwise it will be near enough the same price as the SouthBend when i ask for quicker shipping.

so essentialy whats worth the money? centerforce or southbend.

IF not them then what else. please please please can you guys post up so that i can make up my mind and get something ordered in time.

steve, im just getting a kick out of it, its going away before october to get everything re-done thats why im not so bothered what happens to it now. after all my work is done on it, ill be sensible

Got the power fc last week and Ryan has managed to squeeze me in this afternoon. Here goes the 400 mile round trip lol Going to cost me more in petrol than to actually map it I think

listen buddy, check my thread history out. i was like you 40 cigs a day and then all of a sudden went cold turkey and stopped. i had the determination and support that i needed. occassionally here and there i have a few cigrettes but i proved to myself that i dont need nicotine to live. easiest 2 things i can say for you is this. chew gum, it shuts up the little craves and deals with the angry side of you. get yourself to a gym, all that worked up tension put it into some weights, watch your arms and chest rip! eventually a few days at the gym and you will see how much crap you cough up, trust me you wont want to leave the gym and you wont want to have a fag!

yep, cooling/freezing the drive does work. tried this myself about a year ago and got 300gb worth of data out my nackered drive.

i think i went a little ott that night. anyways, going to get all the work done now so should have a fresh piece of kit for ryan to map up for me.
