yes, same on mine, switch the ballast plug other way round, bit tricky because mine had the catch on the plug to stop it going on but iit worked.

if its genuine you have to ring up the number there, its automated, takes few minutes. and they sort it. my m8 did it last week.

why not just jack up one side and turn one wheel. if its lsd it will lock after few inchs if not it will turn freely .

quote: if you have a n/a supra you dont have an lsd atall, not unless its one of the later facelift models. i have lsd too, which is also an early 94 n/a. easiest way to tell bar reading vin is jack it up and try and turn the wheel.

brilliant, now works. thanks for pm. if any one wants to know, take door card off, the socket attatched to the door on white plug that runs from the lock mech, either unplug and leave unplugged, just stops central locking from key in dooor or clean pins up and plug back in. fixed.

im sure its a broken earth from that socket to the door panel switch. be handy if you could find the fix :-)

ive got exactly the same problem in reverse, the only way it will work is unpluging the windows socket beneath the fuse box under drivers footwell, if you unplug it and hold unlock button down then touch the socket in and out whilst holding unlock it works everytime? or leave it unpluged, but then you have no windows. i dont get it, i think its down to a broken earth, because i have cliff cat 1 and sometimes it will work, like the button does but normally never unlocks. i think its a call out elecrician job. i asked and didnt get far. any help would be appriciated

nic how much for two fronts? not rear, thats being removed. i tried getting some from "uk_bulb_co" on ebay, they are absolute shit. 18negs in past 3 weeks.

because they draw more current thats why. i changed my fuses anyway, they been excellent so far. so good at night, i got the 12000k versions.
