  1. No im pretty sure it doesnt look like that. Also r154 with 1jz bellh. should be exactly what i need, it is going inside 240sx and all the mounts and drive shaft made for that. Transmission i have right now is too short. Sorry shop is closed right now but i have some shitty picture that might help. First one you can see a bellhousing and slave cyl on the side. This one shows that tranny doesnt reach my bracket that was made for r154 with 1jz bellhousing. So i dont know what kind of tranny i have right now but it is not r154 because my driveshaft doesnt fit inside the tranny
  2. Ok this is the problem i have. I bought jspec 2jzgte with 5 speed already attached, not sure which one. My custom drive shaft and tranny mount doesnt fit(tranny doesnt reach to the mount bracket by like 1") and it was made for r154 tranny with 1zj belhousing. So my guess was that it is w58 tranny which has a bit smaller input for drive shaft. So now i need to get r154 tranny + 1zj flywheel and i was wondering if i can reuse the same bellhousing that i have already. What else bolts to 2jzgte but 1jz housing? trying to find out what i have right now. Thanks
  3. Nice swap i got jdm 2jzgte which going in to 1993 240sx. Before i start the car after its done i want to be sure i dont blow anything up. Trying to do research on boost level with this shitty 91 octane.
  4. Damn thats kind a suck, all i have here in California is 91 nothing i can do. Sounds like i will need EGT installed. Where do you guys usually install egt on stock TT ?

  7. Cool you think muffler silencer will do the same job? Also can i run 1.2 on 91 octane Shell v-power or whatever? or should i limit it to 1 bar?
  8. Will it make any difference where the ring installed? After the second cat will do it? Or silencer tip on the N1 style muffler?
  9. Well if the ring is my only option i will have to do that or install one cat or something. 2.5" silencer on the muffler will do the job? What is the deal with wastegate's? Spring is too stiff ? Sorry for this dumb question, this is my first 2jz
  10. Ouch even 1.2 is way too much for 91 octane dont you think? Any way to lower the boost without exhaust ring?
  11. Stock turbos,no boost controller, how much boost will i be pushing? 3" exhaust no cats. I use 91 octane and dont want to pass 15psi Thanks
  12. I found article for iacv. So if i want to keep it sequential where do i connect boost controller?
  13. Ya thats what it is sequential twin turbo system. What is the difference? Can i just bypass it all ? Never had twin turbo before. sequential will give me more power or something? low end power?
  14. Hello I just got JDM 2jzgte which will go into my 240sx and i have a little damage on top. Some kind a solenoid or valve vsv? right next to rear turbo on top has crack and one vacuum nipple is broken. One vacuum line goes to rear turbo waste gate. It also has some kind of a cap that spins. Is that like stock boost controller? Can i take it off and where do i connect my manual boost controller? Thank you. Sorry im a noob and trying to figure out what is what
