Phew, Big sigh of relief today as my Sup got through its M.O.T. I was worried about the emmisions because of the de-cat but just got through. The only thing they were going to fail me on ,was for having the wrong colour indicator and side repeater bulbs, but I assured them I would be changing them as soon as possible to orange (coughs) I also got a look under the car and was pleased to find everything clean, tight and in order so all in all a good day. I always s**t myself when the m.o.t comes up and have to take in a modified car....especially a 15 year old one!
  2. I would not worry too much mate!
  3. Nothing wrong with the Veilside wing mate!
  4. Ive sent him a little e-mail congratulating him on his amazing knowledge.
  5. OK, but try the search at Compucars. Theres one there for 14500 quid and the comments from the ad are worth metioning!

    LE-jog

Ive got a lot of time off coming up and fancied doing something different with my time. Ive always wanted to drive from Lands end to Jon o"groats. I feel the car should be reliable enough and apart from the huge cost of fuel, should not be too expensive. I have done a bit of research and all I can find on the net in relation to this run is cycling forums/events. Anyone done this or had experience of this trip, or anyone know any links to any organization that does this. I wonder what the fastest time between both points is. Any thoughts would be appreciated guys.

    Fairford

Hi guys, Years ago I used to be a profesional photographer for a couple of Air magazines.I used to go all over, but mostly the States. I still keep in touch with the community and have a lot of contacts which means Im always getting passes to airshows. I was wondering as a few of you have shown interest in planes before,If I were able to arrange and exhibit our Supes at Fairford, would anyone be interested. It would probably be limited numbers and would mean going in early and leaving late though. It may be to late to arrange but I thought I would see what you all thought before I bothered.
  10. Ive had some very re-mix,s from DM over the years. Prefer them to the original tracks everytime.
  11. Sorry for you and the street mate.I dread to think what I would do if I caught a little shit doing that to my Sup. Community CCTV set up?

  13. I think some kind of protest is a good idea.It needs to be thought through and I think we should get other clubs involved. Not chav clubs but maybe the Skyline or Scooby clubs, and that would make up for some pretty impressive numbers too!
  14. You will need plenty of hard drive space and off-set the refresh rate for a decent fps image. I have had a massive DM system installed and in my experience, the set up is the easy part but the software set-up needs to be reliable and a good product. Although it did cost a fortune.http://www.dedicatedmicros.com/uk/regional_home.php
  15. Have a volt gauge laying around the garage, so was thinking of insalling it.Might sound stupid, but do I just wire the positive and neutral staright from the battery or can I take it off something in the dash?

    Holes1

Just wondering,I have two switch holes either side of the traction switch on my j-spec. What do other members use these for, and also can you get blanking plates for these, or do I need to fabricate some? Was thinking of installing the brightness switch for my new glow dials in one of them.
  17. Yes mate, it was me. I was following you for a while and thought you might pull over for a chat. Then I saw you going to Waitrose and gave up. I quite fancy one of those Do-luck spoilers actually.Nice car though mate. Hope to see you around chap, or pop round with supra61 for a coffee sometime.
  18. They dont have to do any of that. When you are introduced to a club member, he will nominate you, then you become a prospect for how ever long they see fit. Over the course of time you do anything and everything they tell you which could include being a messanger, to deliveries ect. When they think you are ready, you are given the waistcoat of the clubs colors. It is a very long and hard process. Guys, be carefull when poking fun at these guys, they are a law unto themselves and totaly untouchable and if they want someone, they get someone. A lot of people dont realize what a serious and large organization they are. I know as I have had first hand experience with them.
  19. I like it mate! Where did you get the "shopping list" decals anyway?
  20. I used to keep a small sign in my car that said "your not worthy" when chav,s try it on. If they came up along side and give the sign of a burn up, I just raised the sign without looking at them and they would just pull away all sheepish....Well funny and it worked every time!
