Blackpool: That reminds me i must book to see the lights What is the gauge in the first pic supra TT myster
  4. Interior Retrim: What you feeling Pink and White Na nothing outrageous, just all four seats retrimmed in black cloth or something like and the cloth sections of the door cards and roof lining to match. Very Dark Yep i have a boost gauge but i want to monitor Oil and EGT, you know how hard the 2.0L engine has to work to run in excess of 250BHP. I want to know whats going on especially if i wind up the boost after Water Inj. Well see. I suppose i could always fry an egg on the engine after a run That would be a good indication of temps etc.... Hopefully things are looking up

Is there an alternative to Apexi, Blitz, Greddy and Defi when it comes to gauges without sacrificing on style and quality. Are there any UK manufactured gauges. Dont get me wrong i love the Jap ones however i want an Oil Pressure, Exhaust Gas and Boost Gauge and the Jap ones together will be in excess of £300 What about these Impossible Performance the Spectrum gauges at the top of the page. The thing is i want all the gauges to look the same as i have bought one of the Din Sized Gauge 3 Pod Mount further down the page and they have to be 52mm ones. Seems like there are other choices on that site but only the Spectrum appear to do EGT gauges. I would be interested to know if anyone has non Jap gauges. Regards Chris
  9. Result mate on the insurance. They have always been high for me. They must like slow cars Dont even think about delaying the road tax. The Road Tax camera was in town yesterday
  10. Thats no laughing matter mate, that means were 50% down on turn-out already.
  11. Its normally the 1st Thursday in the month so i guess folks are talking about this Thursday 5th February 2004.
  12. Not sure mate, im 47 miles away, leaving in 40 mins though
  13. WTF is snow mode Faith, my car is a GZ too, what are you lot on about.
  14. Yeah i think you could be right. Nur, Nur, Nur, Nur, Nur (said in a childish kind of stylee). The Apexi is a good system and at the time i got it they were a steal too
  15. Well this poll puts HKS exhausts in front but the Nur the outright winner -: http://www.mkivsupra.net/vbb/showthread.php?s=&threadid=3674&highlight=which+exhaust EDIT: Forgot to say i have the Apexi N1 system with Titanium back box. Im very pleased with, it has the right note for me. I felt the Nur would be too loud for me
  16. Forgot to say i probably would have had UK brakes if my wheels had fit over the calipers however the cost of the UK fronts and rears (approx £1300) and to change wheels as well i could not justify the expense. My alloys were fitted new by the dealer who sold me the car so that side of things was out of my hands.
  17. Hello Terry, Im in the same boat as you, i need to look at my braking system soon as my pads and discs are nearly shot. I have had my supe now for nearly two years and when i first got it i had Chris Wilsons Race Pads fitted. These made a great difference over stock pads and were approx £100 more in cost. The only down side to these were they screached and screamed at every opourtunity. They also produce huge amounts of brake dust. Both of these aspects did my head in the noise especially. In the next few months i will be getting all four discs replaced with stock ones, uprated brake lines and this time i will go with Chris Wilsons Fast Road Pads which do not squeal. Hope that helps Regards Chris
  18. Toyota said no chance to me and from Japan you will be looking at £1000 before paint. Go for Miami Rice MRD skirts, as far as i know you cant go wrong. If i had the cash thats what i would get
  19. No problem i will take some pics. Although it seems harsh to pay for one of these grills from grille-tech to then cut it up the material the grille is made from is very strong and of good quality so IMO i think it is worth it. It has a black trim around the outside mainly for those fitting it as originally intended. You could i guess remove this completely if you were trimming thr grill down to fit into the recess. The hardest part was drawing a template of the bumper recess to then use to cut the grill. Once complete i made a cardboard grill to ensure perfect fit. Next i removed the black trim and cut the grill with a hack saw (New blade for maximum sharpness). I refitted the trim as i preffered it on. IMO the clips and screws they provide are rubbish (probably an understatement too). So i made some brackets out of small alluminum angle bracket. Once these were fitted and the grill installed you cannot see them. The grill fitting is a bit of a fiddle as the brackets are behind it. I used clear nylon ties (not black like they provided) and once installed they are not noticeable either. Will get pictures to back this up and i have kept the templates if that is of any use to anyone. Regards Chris.
  20. I hated it too and i started this blast from the past thread. I have since cut the metal grill down to fit inside the scoop and refitted the black trim to it. IMO It now looks the nuts.
