  1. That`s a strange one on me mate.....gotta be a logical answer somewhere. Andy P.S. camping gear in the back......what was it, a wendy house
  2. Check the hose connections on your BC. If one has popped then it will give a high reading. Andy
  3. Seems a lot of car purely for drifting purposes. That should be a warning in itself not to touch it. It`s more like a show car. Either that or the guy has tooooooo much money to spend.
  4. Check your hose connections mate. It would run at the set boost (1.1 bar) for a while then I was peaking at 1.6 bar or so then found one of the vacuum (I think) hoses had fallen off so now when it reads high, that`s the first thing I`ll look at. Hope this helps. Andy
  5. If anyone wants to buy this......... I have the instruction book for this. I can post it to you, you can copy it then send it back if you want or of course you can download the pdf file from the GReddy website. Andy
  6. It`s the hose just behind/right of the blue cap.
  7. If it has a 19mm or 3/4inch bore then that`s ideal mate. I`d appreciate 12 cms of it. That`s adequate for what I need. I think flip is looking for a piece as well. Let me know if it`s the right size and I`ll PM you my address and how you want paying etc. thanks, Andy
  8. My bov came with the Supra specific kit. There`s a flanged elbow that goes on the bottom (Blitz) and is 19mm or 3/4 inch O.D. One of the stock hoses is discarded and one can be replaced or re-used. Mines are perishing so need a new piece. Thanks anyway buddy. Andy
  9. Just been to check and yes, the hose connecting to the bov was leaking. Hence the shuddering and hence again I`m looking for a bit 19mm hose in the parts wanted section. The cat (dunno if 1st or 2nd) nearest the manifold is still in. I`ve only added the bov midweek and this has just happened since. I adjusted the grub screw at the top (Blitz ssqv) and prolly screwed it too tight as it feels like I`ve no power so I`ll keep playing with that `til I get it right. I installed the BC and the zorst came with the car. It HAS been know to peak to 1.9 bar on hi-boost, that`s assuming the BC is working correctly. Thanks for the help guys. Andy
  10. While giving the car a bit of 'right pedal' yesterday, the engine seemed to be slightly stalling/juddering type thing (for want of a better expression). Ran fine under normal driving but when accelerating hard I had to loosen off the pedal a bit as it just wasn`t boosting smothly at all. (hope this makes sense). This was on stock boost with the controller off and was peaking about 1.6 bar. Normally runs on just under a bar. It`s a J-spec and I have the basic normal bpu modifications and the auto box. My questions are: a) If a restrictor ring has been fitted, will I be able to see evidence of it without taking the exhaust apart. It`s a Nur-spec R b) Would one be advised/recommended. c) Do any of our traders supply them. d) It also seems to be more powerful since installing the bov. Am I dreaming or is this normal. e) I`ve just installed IK22s. Should I ditch them for 24s Thanks guys, Andy
  11. I`m looking for about 10-15 cms of 19mm bore hose. 3mm or above wall thickness. I`d prefer blue Samco but let me know what you have please. I fitted my BOV and the original hose is a bit britlle and is splitting. Obviously will pay your price and the postage. Thanks, Andy
  12. I`ve had several versions over the years with no trouble at all.
  13. Was this the three cars mate When I saw you idle up to the ZX I thought to myself 'you better have something a bit special there matey' Nige now has gold wheels.....looking more like a poxy scooby everyday buddy Hopefully will see you around Iain. Andy
  14. Welcome mate. I had an FTO some years back when they were a bit scarcer. Didn`t have a clue what it was and wasn`t into modded cars at all then so have it to thank for getting me into the mod scene.....and costing me fortunes over the years Enjoy the site. Andy
  15. Does anyone have a Motorolla hands-free kit Or one that`ll take an O2 sim card to swap for my Nokia. pix can be supplied if anyone is interested. Andy
  16. Cracking looking car you have there buddy
  17. I had HIDs on my Lexus and to be honest, wouldn`t say they were any better than I have now. I thought about that route this time but couldn`t be arsed with additional work. UK lights and and bulbs......straight out, straight in. 15 minute job.
  18. I urge you to upgrade as soon as. Fitted mines (UK Spec) at the weekend with the Phillips Xennon bulbs and have just came in from testing them in the dark. What an amazing difference. Well worth the £310 icl. bulbs I paid, for the safety side, never mind looking better. If you can afford `em, get `em:thumbs: Andy
