Last year LeMans re tarmacked the entire circuit so its super smooth. Perfect when your racing over 24hrs, coz the bumps can play havoc!!

Hi all, just wondered if any one on the forum fancy taking part in a team of 10 in a 24hr GoKart race at the famous LeMans circuit in France. Currently we have 7 in the team and there are 3 places up for grabs if your quick and have the passion and endurance to last 24hrs. The race is held on the weekend 5th-8th July. We will be getting there a few days early to get some practice in. Entry fee is £2,500 for the team so we split that 10 ways if we get a team of 10. Of course there is travel and accommodation cost to bear in mind. I've never done it before but, I've always wanted to take part in a 24hr race. Hi mate, welcome to the club, I quite a novice compared to some of the chaps on this site. I have not even clocked up over 100 posts yet!! LOL I've only had mine 6 weeks. I would recommend to go for a TT rather than an NA, I was a bit like your self, should I buy a cheap one or push the boat out and buy a nice one. I would say if finance allows buy a nice one, less grief in the long term and at least you know it's been well looked after, and clean examples are rear and highly sought after, hence hold their value. So wots your budget, are you after a completely stock car or one with a few mods? Manual or Auto?

Hey guys, I currently has a stock TT engine 6 speed, with full BPU, with the 1st DeCat done. I wanted to up the BHP and was told I need a Boost Controller and a 2nd DeCat. 1) Can any one recommend a good make & model Boost Controller 2) Where I can get a new or recon 2nd DeCat pipe 3) Apart from forking out massive on going Single any other cheap tweaks I can do on increasing the BHP. But you can't blame the youth in the US, when you have a role model or as the yaks would like to refer to him as a leader, using violence to get their way, then they feel its ok to do the same. Just think about all the unnecessary deaths in Iraq. But wot really gets me, if a similar shooting had occured in Iraq, it'll make new for a coupe of mins, but no one would really give a toss. Bit of G3 Compound Rub and polish should get rid of most of the light marks, any thing deeper that you can put your nail into. It's gonna need touching up. Unlucky mate
