you wont loose loads of oil mate asi only residual will be in the lines, just remove and tilt them upwards and stow. but if you want to do a proper job you can get hose clamps in most places

ok just fitted the vacuum lines and taken the car for a spin. there is an adjustment nut on the bov, is it normal to adjust them? the reson i ask is that it struggled a little bit on starting and seemed to be more harsher accelerating and perhaps alittle lag. any help would be appreciated. thanks al

also where do i route the vacuum hosing from? as just fitted the pipe but need the vacuum

is that teh one from the arch or from the airbox?? the pipe dont seem to fit either from a quick look? the one from the airbox goes under the other one i think

yeah it feeds the ecu with a speed signal, not sure what this black wire is though mate?

hi guys just got an apexi bov on a almost 90 deg pipe bend and not sure where it fits on the car lol, could someone shed some light on fitting and if poss a picture as it paints a thousand words!!! many thanks al

where does the ecu get its other signal for pps from mate? there isnt one on that diagram which was my point?

so are we no further on with this, i agree if you do the fix it will solve the flashing lights problem as the ecu will not get the signal, however i think you will loose the active spoiler and pps and cruise control. is it worth doing that to just get rid of a light? however when code 42 comes in does the ecu go to some sort of safe mode and shut them off anyway???? or is there another feed to the pps etc from another speed sensor?

if the trac control fuse is removed or broken will it cause th elight to flash?

thanks for the pm mate, with ref to air induction, i meant that the intake is in a bad position as its behind the bonnet so wont get good flow will it

not going to far with engine. will be doing some bpu ie decats and that. just think the engine is quite a hot runner and also what syour opinions of the routing of the air intake? right behind the bonnet!!
