I never noticed a difference between the pre facelift and facelift rears, I feel kinda dim now. lol. The car was manufactured in March of 1997 and as I understand it all the facelift bits an bobs were phased in to the manufacture of supras from late 1996. That would explain the facelift front, pre rear, Although I'm no expert its just what i've read on forums.
Looks like the rears are actually UK types as the reverse lamps are in a different position and the inner reds are used as foglamps. Tis a facelift to be sure and probably came with the later rear lamps originally and instead of the usual light mod to add foglamps for the MOT it was chosen to change the lamps

I thought REAS were RED, and have remote bottles attached ?
They are according to this picture

Read this on another forum and I must confess I didn't know this so maybe others don't either. If it is a repost I apologize but it is so important that I will post it anyway! Not the same here in China as I always use cash and you have to hand in your key before they will return your room deposit but elsewhere could be different!
'Always take a small magnet on your holiday; they come in handy at the end of it. Thought you all needed to know this. This is pretty good info. Never even thought about key cards containing anything other than an access code for the room!
HOTEL KEY CARDS, Ever wonder what is on your magnetic key card?
Answer:
a. Customer's name
b. Customer's partial home address
c. Hotel room number
d. Check-in date and out dates
e. Customer's credit card number and expiration date!
When you turn them in to the front desk your personal information is there for any employee to access by simply scanning the card in the hotel scanner.. An employee can take a hand full of cards home and using a scanning device, access the information onto a laptop computer and go shopping at your expense.
Simply put, hotels do not erase the information on these cards until an employee reissues the card to the next hotel guest. At that time, the new guest's information is electronically 'overwritten' on the card and the previous guest's information is erased in the overwriting process.
But until the card is rewritten for the next guest, it usually is kept in a drawer at the front desk with YOUR INFORMATION ON IT!
The bottom line is: Keep the cards, take them home with you, or destroy them. NEVER leave them behind in the room or room waste-basket, and NEVER turn them into the front desk when you check out of a room. They will not charge you for the card (its illegal) and you'll be sure you are not leaving a lot of valuable personal information on it that could be easily lifted off with any simple scanning device card reader.
For the same reason, if you arrive at the airport and discover you still have the card key in your pocket, do not toss it in an airport trash basket. Take it home and destroy it by cutting it up, especially through the electronic information strip!
If you have a small magnet, pass it across the magnetic strip several times. Then try it in the door, it will not work. It erases everything on the card.

PLEASE FORWARD to friends and family.

dunno what the lp stands for and cant be bothered to search to find out im sure someone will know
Damn made it too easy didn't I
well done that boy
7 - Now, supercharged. Back with the original mini, I defer to sams' explanation.
10 - 2+2 means front seats and a laughable parcel shelf that masquerades as seating. Useless to anyone but Douglas Bader.
11 - AWD is, more strictly, permanent 4 wheel drive. 4x4 usually means you can switch between two or four wheel drive.
13 - Specifically, the introduction of metal flakes to the paint for a specific visual effect. -Ian
Real smarty aren't we:eyebrows: only joking
Nice try...but no cigar....see below.
6 - LP stands for Longitudinale Posteriore, Lambo's name for engine position...
Si, is there ANYTHING that you DON'T know?
to do with lower center of gravity and better weight distribution.Doh, so technical
OK No6 is a bit of a trick question as the 'S' means absolutely nowt and just a way to differentiate from a normal Cooper at the time. At the launch people speculated that it stood for Sport or Special but JC said it was nothing and just 'S'
btw all minis as with many cars in the 50's and 60's had SU carbs as standard, Minis had one Coopers and S's had two like MGB's and Three on big Healeys and Jags!

I think you're about to incur the wrath of the Repost Nazis...

Not again alreadySorry
Just goes to show how old it is, I paid 121.9 a litre for normal unleaded this morningand here still 70p for 97 octane.........

Was sent this but as I am in China and carless may be an idea for you guys:-
The wholesale price of oil is as low as it has been for a while, the oil companies have simply jacked their prices up and the government will not do anything as they rake in extra VAT for every increase, to help make up for the financial disaster that we are in.
See what you think and pass it on if you agree with it
We are hitting 119.9 a litre in some areas now; soon we will be faced with paying 1.50 a litre. Philip Hollsworth offered this good idea:
This makes MUCH MORE SENSE than the 'don't buy petrol on a certain day campaign that was going around last April or May! The oil companies just laughed at that because they knew we wouldn't continue to hurt ourselves by refusing to buy petrol. It was more of an inconvenience to us than it was a problem for them. BUT, whoever thought of this idea has come up with a plan that can really work.
Please read it and join in!
Now that the oil companies and the OPEC nations have conditioned us to think that the cost of a litre is CHEAP, we need to take aggressive action to teach them that BUYERS control the market place not sellers. With the price of petrol going up more each day, we consumers need to take action. The only way we are going to see the price of petrol come down is if we hit someone in the pocket by not purchasing their Petrol! And we can do that WITHOUT hurting ourselves. Here's the idea:
For the rest of this year DON'T purchase ANY petrol from the two biggest oil companies (which now are one), ESSO and BP.
If they are not selling any petrol, they will be inclined to reduce their prices. If they reduce their prices, the other companies will have to follow suit. But to have an impact we need to reach literally millions of Esso and BP petrol buyers. It's really simple to do!!
Now, don't wimp out at this point... keep reading and I'll explain how simple it is to reach millions of people!!
I am sending this note to a lot of people. If each of you send it to at least ten more (30 x 10 = 300)... and those 300 send it to at least ten more (300 x 10 = 3,000) ... and so on, by the time the message reaches the sixth generation of people, we will have reached over THREE MILLION consumers! If those three million get excited and
Pass this on to ten friends each, and then 30 million people will have been contacted! If it goes one level further, you guessed it... ... THREE HUNDRED MILLION PEOPLE!!!
Again, all you have to do is send this to 10 people. That's all. (And not buy at ESSO/BP) How long would all that take? If each of us sends this email out to ten more people within one day of receipt,
All 300 MILLION people could conceivably be contacted within the next 8 days!!! Acting together we can make a difference. If this makes sense to you, please pass this message on.
PLEASE HOLD OUT UNTIL THEY LOWER THEIR PRICES TO THE 90p a LITRE RANGE
It's easy to make this happen. Just forward this email, and buy your petrol at Shell, Asda, Tesco, Sainsbury’s, Morrison’s Jet etc. i.e. boycott BP and Esso.
What do you think guys?

Wow, Sorry Jamie haven't been on for a few days, you got two Sups now?
-
These are what you want :-
http://www.performancealloys.com/alloy_wheels_adaptors.asp,
only problem is the only ones with the P.C.D of 114.3 have a centre bore size of 64/67.1/70.1 and the Supra is only 60.1 plus they cost £79.00 + per pair so probably easier to find some rims with the correct P.C.D to start with

Good job mate, If you don't mind what is this "wet and dry" and where do you get it from? Is it expensive? Just asking as I also need to do my own.
Thanks
Kam
The term 'wet and dry' means it can be used that way - with or without water!
Bodyshops use it to 'flat down' bodywork before and in between coats when preping before doing a spray job.
Most good auto shops will stock them and you buy it by the sheet so shouldn't be too expensive. Just look for body filler etc and they will be nearby.
Comes in different grades from course to ultra fine so if the fine/ultra fine grades are used there will not be any noticeable scoring or scratching and using something like Solvel Autosol to polish will be fine
Looks like this(see attch)
