If you want some HD content then just buy a 360, wirelessly connect it to your PC and stream HD material through that! Or buy the 360 and the HD-DVD add on. Once you've experienced HD you won't look back!

I know, he's only about half the size that he'll be when he's fully matured too! I've taken to starting the game of; loosen the lead ever so slightly as nervous people walk past/towards me, so he jerks forwards a bit! Or pretend that he is immensly strong and am struggling to keep hold of his lead! You should see them run!

Lovely dogs, have a friend in Weston who's got two of those, absolutely monstrous but possibly the softest and most gentle creatures ever!

I agree with Gaz. The DDA should definately be changed/abolished. Emphasis and restriction should be placed on the owner not the dog. I own a Bull Terrier (English) and it is the most loveable and soft dog with humans there is, yet we get people literally screaming, crossing the road and completely changing direction just to avoid walking past us! And he is only a 10 month old puppy!
  5. Cheers for the help mate! The Enron and Sarbox question is a great idea, have just been doing that in our Advanced Financial Accounting module, so have a basic idea of what is going on. I was thinking of challenging them on that anyway, ie: ask whether they thought that Enron blatantly broke the accounting regulations and purposefully 'managed' their accounts without regard to regulations, or wether they stuck to the basic reporting principles but implemented them in a way that they were never intended to be; pushed the boundaries beyond the norm. This argument is something we have been covering heavily at uni. It should throw up a decent converstation anyway, but i'm only going to ask if the opportunity arises! Am planning to do some major research/swatting up on the current issues from the FT, also going to check out the pod-casts from the PWC website, and also try and find some more rare points to pick up on and ask about. With regards to team work and such questions, i should be ok with those as i worked as part of a management accounting team last year in my 1yr industrial placement, so will be able to draw on that experience. Cheers for the help anyway, will be applying to EY, KPMG, Deloitte, Kroll etc, but obviosuly PWC is first choice! Hopefully it will go ok, all good experience what ever the outcome! Thanks again!
  6. Does anyone work, or have worked, for PWC? Or has anyone had any interview/assessment experience with them? I've got my 1st interview coming up with them on the 18th Dec, it's for their graduate scheme and i am applying for Assurance (Audit) in the East Midlands. Just looking for some tips/help/inside knowledge so i can make the best impression and hopefully progress further through the application process! Any tips would be great! Cheers!
  7. I'm currently at Loughborough Uni mate, in my final year of the 4 year sandwich course. Living in Loughborough, but original from Southampton. Quite like it up here though so thinking of sticking round after!
  8. What uni are you at MK? I did a placement last year as part of my Accounting and Financial Management course, there are 100's of options out there. Lots of companies advertised at uni and then i also sent off seperate letters to companies that i was interested in working for. Think who you'd like to work for and then get in contact with them to see what they could offer.
  9. Lol. Had the same thing happen to me in my Clio run-around, £500 to rebuild half the engine, as it had damaged all the valves etc, but pistons were fine. Got it repaired and then swiftly sold it! Know how you feel mate. Chin up!
