I feel abit better now after loosing pixy on Thursday. That aching feeling is easing off a little. I think this lot on here had abit to do with it. thanks everyone. How are you syed. are things ok mate.

It was only 3 months ago when me and my girlfriend were walking our dogs. (pixy past away Thursday xxx) when a bullmastiff came running out of a garden. i had to pick my lurcher above my shoulders whilst this mastiff was jumping for her. Then jumping for my girlfriend. I was kicking the mastiff in the mouth but it wouldn't stop. It got that much that i nearly started to cry with panic but someone grabbed the dog after 10minutes. I was so lucky the dog didnt turn on me. i must of kicked it 20 times in the head and mouth.

I dont blame you mate. I'm a mad animal lover to. but there's just something about staffys that makes me wanna shit my pants. they are the work of the devil them things. Don't get me wrong, theres probably alot of them out there that are soft as shit but its the damage they can do if you cross them.

Jesus Christ mate, I'm so sorry. That's terrible. my heart goes out to you and your family I had a cat many years ago that went missing for 2 days, like cats do. I found out off some lady that in the early hours of the morning my cat harry had been savaged by to dogs. And his body was still there. Well i found him but i wont go into what i saw. I nearly had a bloody brake down. No words will make it ok mate. Just give it time. Time is a great healer.

I don't think it helps when I'm such a mad animal lover. It breaks my heart to see animals get hurt or neglected. I pay £20 db a month to the rspca. Those guys are awesome. Been trying to think of all the good times we had and just been watching some video's on my phone of her. It just makes thing worse. I have not cryed for along time now but this past week i just cant seem to stop. I'm just walking around the house trying to find things to do And drinking gallons of black coffee to perk me up.

Well i woke up all happy this morning. Then after about 3 seconds, reality kicked in and i realised that my heart was absolutly fu***D. My partner is on a 7am till 9pm shift at the hospital today and i feel for her having to work at a time like this but I'm stuck in the house now just me and my lercher (amba) and i just dont know what to do with my self. I dont really want to go out anywhere as i dont want to leave amba on her own. God its going to be along day.

I feel so sorry for you and your family. my Yorkie past away on Thursday and i had her cremated. It was the hardest thing i have ever had to do. So i know what you are going through mate. You feel like there's not enough words inside to describe how lovely and how much character your family member has. No one will ever know but you. As i said in my thread. It can sometimes feels worse to loose a pet or see an animal die than to hear of a human dieing. Nothing can beat that close companionship of you and your dog. My house feels so empty and so does my heart. I know the pain wont go away but it will get easier to deal with in time. Just give it time mate. That's all you can do.

just packed all her toys and food bowl away in a box along with a little goodbye note. god this is hard:(

Thanks alot guys. you don't know how good it feels to here some freindly chat at the moment. i dont know if its just me but it feels worse than when i lost my nan. i just cant stop crying at the moment.

Thanks for the support guys. I no it was the best thing to do but i just miss her really bad. Its just that she was one in a million. I know everyone feels like that about there pets but she had an hard little life before she came to us. She was owned by bastard Gypsy's. They were caught kicking her about and actually left her behind, so my girlfriends nan took her and then we took her. god i just wana cry.
