I hope so! and I will be selling the car after xmas and getting definately getting something less powerful so ive learnt my lesson....the hard way, just hope it isnt any worse than selling my car, 6points and a big fine :-(

yeah thats what im worried about SupraAyf, do you think they may be more leanient as its my first offence and that ive always had a clean licence or will they not care? As i know they can ban me if they want?

ha ha tempting but in their defence there are a few, but anyone ive spoken to regarding the stretch of road says they never do 50, its a massive long straight, no buildings or anything, just the road out of the city - why it is not 70 like anywhere else mystifies me anyway

Its a dual so with no signs its 70mph but there are signs on this one saying 50mph so if the signs are up its regardless of the type of road unfortunately

do you think? as 34mph over the limit is a lot in it - anyone else had a similar experience and did it affect their insurance?

martin honestly Id be happy to take 6points for it just really cant afford to lose my licence as Id have to quit my teaching - which im actually doing well in so its either that or be jobless and on jobseekers! Is is 3years, as I thought 5years?

what is it? as the web filter in school is blocking access? yes im prepared to pay a penalty but I think losing my licence over my first offence when dual's are usually 70 a little harse to say the least dont you agree??!

Hi guys, in bit of a nitemare at the mo, got caught speeding last night by two traffic police officers, caught on their cam doing 84mph on a dual carriageway, however the carriage way is 50mph not the usual 70. Can anyone advise me on any thing I can do to improve my chances of not receiving a ban? I've been driving for almost six years, always had a clean licence and this is my first offence. Im also a student teacher and if i get a ban I will have to pull out of uni as I commute about 25miles a day. Gutted, car will have to be 100% sold aswell as I can only imagine the insurance - feel such a dick!!

Anyone know a good place to get a set of these or anyone fancy selling a second hand set, I have the oringinal 16" jspecs that I can also swap if wanted. Interested in purchasing after xmas. Many thanks.

Ha ha sorry mat, thinking of selling as Im moving into my new house after xmas with my girlfriend and dont think I can't afford to do both the car and house up.

Mat have you ever driven the auto, I thought id only ever have a manual but its so nice to drive, I go as far to say I perfer an auto now especially with all that power, you put your foot down and just an instant smile beems across your face! The price difference to a manual makes it an even more attractive alternative. An you can always re-trim the interior or keep a watchful eye on the beloved Ebay! Give it some thought mate....

********** Car now SOLD *************. Hi guys, testing the water to see if I can sell my TT, genuine reason for selling: Car is: 93 3.0 TwinTurbo Auto, Imported into the UK in November 2005. Only had two previous owners from new. I bought this car off CJ and im sure he will confirm that this is a lovely example car, and mechanically sound. funny enough CJ, you left a 180mph one in the glove box of mine, any reason why you put the 110 on instead of the 180mph? cos if not id rather put the 180 one on, was it easy to do? how does the fascia come off? Sorry for bugging you will a thousand questions!!! Cheers mate
