  1. Just installed a Apexi Powerflow on mine and it sounds a lot better (bit like a quite dump valve and woosh on turbo spin) but haven't really noticed an improvement on power. It is best to have this on in combination with Exhaust and boost upgrade as its importance increases I believe.
  2. Thanks Chaps, One more thing. Is a larger s type intercooler going to give me a performance increase. I am not thinking of taking my mods any further so 550bhp is a little OTT although if a larger FMIC will increase BHP, I would consider getting one.
  3. I was just removing a stone from my intercooler this evening and noticed that when I pulled it out, the area around it broke away. To my surprise, I am able to gently pull the fins of the cooler away really easily with my fingers. If you gently rub the fins, they simply disintegrate like cardboard. This can't be right can it, surely it is aluminium or something. I did the same with my radiator (which looks like a similar substance) and it was fine, just a plyable metal that would break if you pressed too hard. Is it time for a new IC. If I do get one, is there much of a difference between the stock and a HKS S-Type (or R Type) and similar. WIll I have to change the front bumber for a FMIC? Cheers Guys
  4. I am just going to order some HKS Iridium plugs for my J-Spec Twin Turbo and wondered if anyone knows the part number. I have been onto the HKSUSA.com site and found out that they say it is a 5408-535i I need although don't know if there cars are the same as the J-Spec ones. The site i am buying them from only uses part numbers. Cheers
  5. Don't forget that if you have an airbag to switch the ignition off when you remove the dash, otherwise the airbag light stays on until you reset it with some jiggery-pokerry.
