  1. How can I keep the active front spoiler from retracting at lower speeds? I've pulled the electrical connection which does the job but now the big red warning light on the dashboard is on all the time. I now people remove these spoilers to fit FMIC's so how do they get on? Cheers R1George:eyebrows:

  4. I've just riden my mates 2006 R1! nice but not 5k's worth more than mine. What you got now??
  5. Hi, I'm just outside Cannock!
  6. Does anybody have any numbers for places I can get the decat pipes, fuel pump and plugs?? What power am I looking at if I use a 1bar boost restrictor ring? I don't want to put to much strain on the turbo's so 1 bar should be the safer option. I've already got a boost gauge and I'm boosting max at 0.8bar which I think is about right for standard. Any comment's
  7. Thanks for the welcome and thanks for advise on the green stuff brakes. It seems I don't need a boost controller just a decat and restrictor, more info on this would be helpful. Thank again to all who replied i'll get some picture on line ASAP. R1GEORGE
  8. yes I have a 99 r1 with maxton fast road fork conversion 2004 rear shock, steering damper, mig high level, dynojet and k & n 150 @ wheel dyno''d. I don't use it much now that I've got the Supra:( but it's nice to get it out of the garage for a quick blast;) . You've got to have your boyz toyz lol.
  9. Hi, Just joined the forum hopefully to learn a bit about my Supra TT. I've had the car for 2 years now so I thought it was time for a bit of modding. It's a jap spec 3.0 tt, full leather, auto 78,000mls and was totally standard till last month when I fitted 19's, strut brace, induction system and mongoose exhaust. Looks the business now (not really into body kits apart from the TRD option, side skirts and spats). This week I'm fitting new(standard 2 pot) front calipers, 10 groove disc's, green stuff pads and braided hoses. The rear can wait till I've bribed the wife into letting me spend "more money"!! Anyway I've just bought a GREEDY FCD and need some informed help/advice. Do I go for a manual boost controller or electronic taking into consideration cash flow and reliability?? To be safe what else do I need to do to gain more reliable power?? Am I better staying with standard power. Any help is appreciated:) r1george
