This is the item number of the cams i bought on ebay 290032154153 if you can still find them. In this discription it says boxed and never fitted. PM'd the bloke last night and ive had no reply. But if he is lying will he admit it, I doubt it! So it looks like im £400 sheets down, jamies being good enough to post the cams back, but i cant see hks doing anything about it. Oh yeah i forgot to mention i never opened the box when they arrived and never posted them with any insurance, dont think they were insured when Joe Au sent them either. So i put it down to a learning experience. And no postie is leaving my house in a hurry again, dont trust anyone!

Picked my uk spec up today with fmic, full decat, fcd, etc. It goes like a saturn rocket but seems to smoke quite heavily at tickover, never did this before. Is it over-fueling? Never ever did it with the cats in, or is it pretty normal? My afr gauge isnt much use yet, says ive got to do 5-6 runs to get the egt over 700 for the sensor to work properly, or am i panicking about nothing? Is it worth getting an emanage and a mapping session?

Still in original boxes, never seen the inside of a head! Unmarked beauties and yours for around £550. Ill swap for 256s or 264s though. Also i wont split them, theyve come a long way together...

You dont think theres going to be much market for the 272s then Ian? Thanks for explaining the shimming to me, got a much better take on it now. So if a shim is too large, its just a matter of trimming a little off, but if its small, new ones at £14 a pop. Thanks for that Ian

Ive got some Lm's on mine, but mine have a gunmetal entre as opposed to gold. Got mine on ebay for £750. Theres a bit of road salt marking like you say, and they came with half worn potenza's, think i got a bargain. The wheels had being up before and went for 900, but the buyer was a arse and never paid, so i got a bargai on the re-listing...

Thanks for the input peeps. Ive got the uk 550cc injectors by the way. So an e-manage or v-con will simply allow better tuning of the a/f ratio through the rev range, but what other functions can it do for the money?Also the shimming of the new cams needs changing, is this the gap between the bottom of valve to the piston, governed by the thickness of the shim with the cam lobe sat atop???

Might have a go at swapping, know much about the fueling computers, piggybacks out there?

You think id be better looking to swap them for some 256's or similar? Got them for 400 notes the other day, didnt seem a bad price for new.
