What kind of greddy bov do you have silversoop? Type S or RS?

Not sure mate, Heckler has the same one, I *think* its a type 'S'.

It's got a purple top to it and there is a pic of it on Paul Whiffin's web page...

I can hear my GReddy bov more noticeably actually. After i hit tubby 1, you can hear the spool and the blow off noise it but its not too loud.

When hit number 2, it makes a very nice ssssstcshhhh noise though...

I saw you this morning at about quarter to 8 going past me as you were in the right hand lane going past the brighton hill retail and you were headed the same way as me! Dont worry Karma, i wasnt in the Supe, i was in the brand new Audi A6 Avant 2.0 TDI...

I've had cats for as long as I can remember, my wife too, and whilst we are looking forward to having the time and lifestyle to commit to a dog, we will have cats around till we too, end our days. Capricious conniving little beasties they are, independent and affectionate in equal measures...hard as nails yet squishy too. Heartbreaking when their time is up, but take comfort in the fact that you gave him a good life and he liked you enough to stay around as long as he did.

Thanks Ewen, i loved him like no other and this may sound sad but if i had to choose between my 14 year old cat or my girlfriend, it would be my cat all the way.

My last 2 cats were both 20 when I had to do this. Know exactly where you are at mate, but he is at peace and no longer suffering. And I have another one who is spoilt rotten which I said I would never do

Your cats were lucky to live to 20, my poor little mate was only 14 and his life was cut short by organ failure and Jaundace which he didnt deserve at all. He lost a total of 2 kgs in 8 months during the time he was ill but we couldnt do anything about it.

He was drinking and eating but still losing weight, down to the point that he was a tiny little skeleton...

Sounds so simular to what happened with my bestest mate Shay, he came down with something horrid, i put over a grand into his recovery only for him to be taken by cancer. I cried like never before so i know exactly what you are going through.

 

Just remember you gave him the best life he could have had and he loved you for it, he will be smiling down on you now amigo.

 

I could not be in the room when they gave him the injection, he was trying to get out of the cage to get at me and i let him down, i will never forget it as i was a coward, you did the best bud, fair play to you.

I just felt i had to be there in his last moments of life to make up for all the times that i should of been there but wasnt...

When i got rid of my n/a, i got £3800 for it so i reckon you'd be looking around the same sort of price tbh.

I bet you are sad to see your poor Supe go but well done on your new purchase, at least it's still a Toyota lol...

Although i wasnt there all of the time for him, the most important thing to know was that he knew we were there just before he died and that we cared.

I dont think i would have coped if he died and i wasnt there. I wouldnt be able to forgive myself...

I am trying but i vividly keep remembering his face just after he died...

It makes me well up every single time...

Hi all, sorry for the downer just when ewen gave all of you sad news but my cat died earlier tonight. We had to take the painful decision to have my best friend put down.

He had severe jaundace and multiple organ failure. My dad come back home earlier today, and found him lying in his own mess (which cats never do).

Dad cleaned him up and rushed him to the vets and thats when i got the call so i finished early today.

The vet told us that my little mate that his kidneys packed up followed by his liver and he was severly dehydrated.

He had only a day or so left. It all come on all of a sudden. He had Jaundace before but recovered, but not this time. So at 6.00 tonight, we went to say goodbye to him,

he didnt realise it was us until i put my hand out to support his little head and thats when he wagged his little tail and started purring until the vet gave him the injection.

Within seconds, his head flopped to the side and that was it...

We have decided to get him cremated and set him free in the open air so he can roam around once and for all.

Im absoultely heartbroken as are my family and i keep welling up thinking of him. The worse thing is, my parents wrapped him in a towel and he refused

to get off the towel because it smelt of us and thats where he was most comfortable.

The house feels so empty without him and i feel like a part of me has died too...

RIP mate, he was the best friend i have ever had.

My passenger side headlight is starting to go yellow i have noticed too...

I don't know how this works, but the higher road tax bands apply to cars registered after 1st March 2001. Vehicle Excise Duty

For cars registered after 1st March 2001, car/road tax, or Vehicle Excise Duty (VED), is charged according to a vehicle's carbon dioxide and fuel type. CO2 figures are submitted by the vehicle manufacturer and recorded on the vehicle logbook. A vehicle manufacturer will register the lower figure for their LPG cars. No changes after registration are permitted even if the car is subsequently converted to run on LPG.

 

However, for those cars registered after 2001and converted to run on LPG, owners who submit the appropriate documentation (e.g. LPGA conversion certificate - click here for details) to the DVLA can request that the taxation class is changed to 'Alternative Fuel Car' and will then be eligible for a standard reduction on VED.

If it is the case that the Supra has the higher tax..then the car should be able to be converted. There are kits that inject the LPG gas into the inlet manifold for £400. There are more sophisticated installations £1500-£200. I suppose this means that the supra could become a Duel Fuel car

Thats a great idea but i have got a better one, since im paying the highest road tax for polluting the atmosphere, im going to bloody well pollute the atmosphere

and get my money's worth!
