Cheers mate - I guess it's just how things are changing but didn't want to agree to it without getting a second opinion. Next I'll be asked to service the car & pay for new tyres!?!

Cheers H - yeah, been offered that I drive the car, but if I crash & it's my fault I'll have to pay the voluntary excess (which is crazy high & decided by my boss) I guess you're alright if it's not your fault, but I always assumed that the company would pay for any damage caused to the car as they are the legal owners.

Just a quick question - a few people I've asked have said different things. If you have a company car, and you have an accident, who pays the excess on the insurance (you or your company?)

Good point Mark, you don't. But from what I have read by others on this club I will stay clear of companies like Elephant as it might look good on paper but when it comes down to the crunch they don't hold there end up.

I also went with Sky as I felt they knew what they were talking about where others were willing to insure me but as Homer has said would pay peanuts if I made a claim( I'm hoping this is true)
